Best face lotion ever. Seriously.
I am extremely serious about my lotions. To be candid, I have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) and one of my compulsions is to use lotion consistently through-out the day. This means I’ve tried just about everything for my face and body (Nivea, Aveeno, Jergens, Biore, Neutrogena, Oil of Olay, St. Ive’s, and the list continues) from my teen years until now (age 25). I’m extremely picky about texture, consistency, how the lotion feels when applied, how the lotion feels while applying make-up, how it feels half-way through my day, etc…This face lotion has made me the happiest by far. Other moisturizers for my face I have enjoyed in the past include Aveeno and Clinique products, and now I have been using this one for over a year. It is well worth the price + Oil of Olay has regular sales/rebates which make it even cheaper.This moisturizer is not greasy, drying, cakey, heavy, sticky or non-absorbant. I only need a little amount applied once after my shower and my face feels moisturized all day long. I have received comments at work after about 2 months of use that my face appears smoother and softer. It does not irritate any part of my face, nor has it caused break-outs. My make-up applies well over it.Overall, this moisturizer feels very natural on my skin. I will continue buying it for years to come.I hope this review is helpful.

So good, I’ve used it for years
I remember first hearing about this product in an MSNBC article about which products REALLY work. That article said that this particular UV lotion had the right ingredients in it to do what it says – keep your skin protected, hydrated, and fresh. And I have to tell you, 2.5 years later, I’m still using it. (And that’s unusual for me – I’m normally bored with a product much sooner than that!) The lotion is a little thick, but goes on smoothly; has a nice, light scent; and absorbs quickly so I can get my other makeup on. If I had to have one “wish” item for this product, it would be that the pump wouldn’t clog quite so easily between daily uses; but that’s a small concern compared to how great my skin looks. I’m really pleased with this lotion.

Good all-around moisturizer with a little added sunscreen
Iâm a Black woman in my mid-40s with sensitive skin. I rarely wear makeup, and tend to be super low maintenance when it comes to skin care overall. 9 days out of ten, I wash my face, slap on moisturizer, and call it a day. Iâm also super neglectful when it comes to sunscreen (Iâm not proud of it).As I reached 40, I realized it might be a good idea to switch from Oil of Olay for sensitive skin to some sort of âanti-agingâ moisturizer, asked around, looked around, and decided to give the Regenerist line a try.Iâm glad I did. It is unobtrusive, but does the job. It doesnât make my skin break out or itch (two reactions Iâve had in the past), and the smell is mild, IMO. If I do decide to add makeup, it doesnât make it look or feel weird or blotchy.It also lasts quite a long time: one and a half pumps is enough to cover my face and neck.

Strikes a perfect balance of hydration and protection for me
After I saw that an unbiased testing lab had given Regenerist highest ratings and noted it was one of the few products that produced visible results, besting products costing multiple times as much, I decided to give it a try. Now I don’t leave the house without it. Nothing gives miraculous results regardless of advertising claims. But for my skin it goes on very easily without oiliness or a greasy feel and seems to be absorbed instead of just sitting on top of my skin unnaturally, giving it a health hydrated look and feel. In the past it had an SPF of 30 and now is only 15 I noticed. Perhaps to achieve 30 causes too much of a “white” effect some consumers didn’t like, just speculating. So If I plan on being out in direct sunlight , I switch to another Olay product that I also like very much, Complete Daily Defense All Day Moisturizer, which has SPF 30 but does have a more pronounced whitening tint on the skin. Very happy with the results as well as the reasonable price, so I can recommend it highly.

I am about to order this product again after many years of using it. At the age of 89, I still like to care for my skin. At such an advanced age, my skin looks pretty good. I don’t understand the comments about fragrance. I don’t find that at all. And yes, my nose still works well. Recently, the skin on my feet was rough and cracked. No hand lotion or foot product helped at all. I decided to use the Olay Regenerist on my feet. It worked wonders. The skin is now soft and smooth with no cracks. I am not recommending this lotion for feet—just the face and neck. However, my feet are so much better. Thanks, Amazon, for letting me review Olay Regenerist. Most people won’t listen to someone my age. Go 90 !

Very light and good for occasional use, but use a better sunscreen if your outside for long periods, 15spf isnât enough to protect the skin. Leaves your skin so soft and gives it a glow. I wear this when Iâm indoors and need some quick moisturizer to keep the face hydrated. Itâs convenient packaging allows me to take it to work without a mess or worry of bacterial contamination.
