Great buy
I was a little skeptical at first when considering this product but this was even before my first oil change on my new truck and I saw on youtube how some people struggled to get the filter in the location that it is in. So without trying to drain my oil and attempt to pull off the filter and failing and then ordering the product which would come in a day or 2, I decided to buy it and lo and behold it did the work pretty easy. Now I have. 2020 Ram 3500 and what I ended up having to do was access the location of the filter form the top of the engine bay and use like 18 inches of ratchet extensions just to be able to have nthe leverage to move in this tight space. But nonethe less it did work and it took the filter off with ease. I only wish that RAM decided to put this filter in a more convenient location!

Best strap wrench
Best strap wrench I’ve owned and used for filters of all sizes. Being 3/8 and 1/2 is very versatile. Highly recommend to anyone changing multiple size filters

Worked great.
If you ever need a 3 foot breaker bar to remove an oil filter this is the tool for you. Saved me from cursing the Kubota factory for putting a filter on so tight it broke all my other oil filter wrenches.

Great for tough Diesel truck filters.
I do a lot of work on large diesel trucks and equipment, and this is my preferred filter wrench. It makes for a much less messy removal process than pliers or screwdrivers and hammers, and is strong enough to use with long wrenches -sometimes I have to use a breaker bar to remove badly stuck filters, and this strap wrench handles it! The design of this tool also allows for access to difficult-to-reach filters, that are otherwise obstructed from removal by hand. It works with both 3/8 and 1/2″ ratchets.

Easy adjustment, built for heavy duty use
First time using the product was to break loose a hydraulic filter housing on a loader. This strap wrench was put under some extreme tension before popping a couple stitches. The canister will need to be replaced, but we were able to remove it. The loader operates in extremely corrosive conditions. The strap did not break, but gear wrench sent a replacement immediately after notifying them about the stitching that popped. Would recommend for industrial heavy duty use.

After 2 days of trying to open a blue water housing following all the tips and tricks we could find from Youtube including using two plastic spanners and two people twisting spanners, also heating the housing with a blow heater, and using a steel pipe as a lever on the spanner handle nothing worked. We purchased this product after seeing it recommended on Youtube. Very good quality product and it worked!
