Tough material, very good fit, a little challenging to install
I bought and just installed these seat covers to protect the front seats of a 1998 Dodge Ram. I am very pleased with them. The material is sturdy and they are well constructed. I’m sure they are waterproof. The material seems like a flexible, textured plastic/vinyl with good grip. Almost like a dirt bike seatcover., just a littler thinner It may be hot in the sun, but I bought these covers to protect the seats from wear and spills. If heat is an issue I will throw a towel over them in the summer.Installation took about an hour for the 2 bucket seats and the small middle. About 15 minutes of that was figuring out which cover went where. The directions weren’t much help. But that’s ok, I’m used to sub par directions.After figuring out which cover went where I began the installation. These covers are well constructed and fit the contours of the seats quite well. That means you have to work at getting them positioned correctly. You will work top to bottom, front to back, and side to side a number of times until they are in place. This will take awhile for each seat, at least in the Dodge. There isn’t much excess room between the stock seats, so getting the covers into place takes awhile. I am not complaining since once they were in place they fit quite well.The covers use velcro and tie down straps to secure them. This works quite well. I would almost prefer zippers for the seat backs, but that would add to the expense and may make them more difficult to install. You will need strong fingers to install these covers.Overall I give these seat covers a 4.5 out of 5. I expect them to last a long time and do a very good job. The challenge of the installation doesn’t matter since they will probably be on the truck for the remainder of it’s life.I bought less expensive covers at a local auto store and they were a joke compared to these. The material was shoddy and they didn’t fit. Go with these covers. Once you get them installed you will probably be glad you did.

Excellent seat covers
These covers are a perfect fit for my 1999 Ram 1500. Fairly easy and intuitive install with velcro and synch straps. The material is heavy weight grippy canvas that feels well made and durable. Time will tell how it stands up to use and stains. Iâm very happy with the quality, fit/finish and look of the covers. I would recommend.

Nice covers!Be forewarned though, these are a utilitarian semi canvas like material. And while the fit is good, there will be some wrinkles in it no matter how well they have been installed.The most difficult part of their installation was getting the Velcro side straps on the seat bottoms under the seat but above the seat rails. That takes time, perseverance and some mechanical ability.As I said though, fit is good! And is perfect for me!The only downside that I found was that the cover that fits the bottom of the center console made it dfficult to keep the top latched down. This could be an issue with the latch on my truck and normally wouldn’t be an issue for me, but may be a problem if I want to flip it up for a third person in the front seat.

These r heavy duty seat covers. They fit snuggly n were fairly easy to install. I have an old truck n the seats were starting to wear. They’ve changed the appearance from worn out to new. The price was well worth what I got.

Check each piece B4 installing!
Check each individual component BEFORE installing. The driver side seat back was the 4th component I installed and discovered that the stitching completely missed the Velcro on one side (see photo). I would have returned this product if I had found the manufacturer defect sooner. The fit and function of the covers is good for the price, but the quality control deserves the 3 stars. I will use safety pins to secure the closure rather than remove the covers and drive 35 miles to the nearest UPS Store and return it.

Seriously the best seat covers you will ever buy
These are the last seat covers you will ever buy. They fit perfectly and stay put! My husband is HARD on his trucks and even he hasn’t been able to rip, tear, or stain these seat covers. I’m ordering some for his other truck now!
