Runs cold, great CPU, high performance
Upgraded from 6800H/3070Ti and itâs been great, even for unoptimized games like Tarkov and PUBG.Great performance and no heat problems whatsoever. As a desktop replacement it works extremely well, but weight might be a problem if you actually trying to carry this thing around with you.Appearance: solid black plastic, looks good, it had RGB lights all around is good if youâre into that. Personally I just put it on solid red. Which creates some ambient light but isnât enough to illuminate the desk or annoy you at night.Right now itâs definitely a better value for money than 4090 model.Really surprised how cold the CPU runs. I think I never got it higher than 85C. Fans arenât very loud either.

Great experience and even greater screen
This laptop won’t dissappoint those who are looking for the best gaming experience. The screen shows color you might have never seen before on a monitor, and the 240Hz refresh rate gives a fluid experience great for competitive games. It’s able to handle all use cases, from work to daily use. Every game and every application you download will be handled with ease, and you will never have to think wether you can run it or if it will slow down your PC.

Powerful performance
Very powerful (at time of purchase). Very bright colours. Surprisingly good sound. Because of big power consuming, working time from battery is limited. Also heavy one

Good machine
I feel that the computer is over powered in some ways and does not have the true ability to have its max potential unlocked due to the restraint on equipment. I think you can get a less expensive machine that will do the same thing and still have all of its ability unlocked.Got this on sale during Prime Day. 400.00 off so I am not disappointed in the machine but I am in my choices. I could have saved more money by getting another. COLORED, KEYBOARD very cool very nice to have lots of fun to play with the setting. Again should not be the main sale point but sometimes it is.

Very nice HDR display
This is a very nice laptop. The 18 inch HDR display can be too bright at times, but the color is amazing. At some point I may have to upgrade to a larger drive, but for now it’s fine. I have had a problem controlling the lights on the keyboard. When I change the settings, they always seem to get set back to the default rainbow pattern after a while. But that’s a minor issue.

Doesnt’ work with Bluetooth malfunctions. Armory Crate only works Sometimes.
I purchased this laptop hoping for a premium experience, but Iâve run into several frustrating issues. First and foremost, it refuses to work properly with my Bose QuietComfort headphones. While it can connect via Bluetooth, thereâs no actual audio output once pairedâa problem Iâve never encountered with other devices.Additionally, the Armoury Crate software for controlling the keyboard lighting feels unpolished. Every time I power on the laptop, I have to manually reconfigure my lighting settings. Itâs an inconvenience that really should have been resolved by now, especially at this price point.Overall, the most disappointing aspect is the general bugginess of the software. Features I would expect to run seamlessly (and do on cheaper laptops) frequently malfunction here, making this machine far less reliable than Iâd hoped. If smooth, user-friendly software is a priority for you, this model may not live up to expectations. I genuinely expected better performance given the cost and supposed high-end features.

Well Worth The Price
Excellent performance, outstanding design, and considerately powerful cooling fans make this gaming laptop a good entry into the Gaming Laptop World. Although the RTX 3050 is obviously not the most powerful in the market, it should satisfy your craving for almost any game and allow you to reach the highest settings in those that are not too graphic-demanding. I’ve been using this laptop for half a year now and found no issues so far. For those that complain about some weird bugs and error such as the machine not going to sleep mode properly, there is a high chance that it’s Windows 11’s problem.Update: After one year of usage of the device, Iâve finally identified the cause of issue where the device does not enter sleep mode properly or timely, and the culprit is the Aura Wallpaper or Aura Sync features from the Armoury Crate app. Try disable either or both and the problem is gone. It may be upsetting for not being able to use the features but it is fine by me.

Amazing laptop
Amazing laptop I can’t really find nothing wrong except just the price. I got new on sale for the 2024 model for 2800 so I could say I am somewhat comfortable with that. I believe we are paying a premium do to win pro and upgradability of the scar. You can upgrade the scar to 64 ram etc. The strix 18 comparable version you can’t, comes with just about the same specs as the scar G834JZR-XS96 version just a few differences, for example win home I think and comes maxed out from what I believe to 32 ram etc, so not upgradable past what it comes with maybe except the SSD. The 18 strix I found new around 2000 with same specs that of the scar. From what I understand they have little differences but nothing to justify that 1000 extra for the scar I believe anyway. Unless you planning on upgrading it like með if you plan on just getting something great to game with and plan on buying something later just get strix 18. Hope this helps someone.
