The screen is pretty responsive. Iâm very impressed on the genuine good quality of the screen itself. It found out connects via Bluetooth to my stereo that I normally use, which means I can maintain the sound quality of bt and not an aux cord. The only downside I have with it is the flat mount doesnât stick to anything. The adhesive pad that came with it wouldnât stick to anything, even with a prepped surface.

I decided to upgrade from my 6.1â to this 9.26â CarPlay, and happy I did. The bigger screen makes for a much better diving experience. I have a 99 Boxster fun car and want to keep it original, but it has no Bluetooth, no built-in navigation or Aux jack. This smart screen CarPlay does the trick. It has a sharp, clear screen, and is very responsive, and the price is right. The power plug for the CarPlay has a USB jack, so you can put your radar detector, or charge your phone right off the power cable. The stereo plays out of my car speakers and plays through the radio on a FM frequency because I donât have an aux jack. Works great, sounds great!! If you do have an Aux jack..you can play through that too. This CarPlay has a front camera that comes on when you first start, and it comes with a rear camera, that you can hook up. Not sure if Iâm going to hook the rear up yet. Overall, I like the unit, and havenât come across any negatives yet. If I do, I will update the post. As a side note, one of the reasons I got this CarPlay, is because I have another 9â from the same company, but an older version, and I had an issue. Their customer service was responsive to my inquires, which they answered within 24 hrs, and indicated it was under full warranty. But they were able to help me fix my issue, which was actually an easy fix. But I appreciated their response.
