Good, consistent quality of screws in container
.UPDATE 3 WEEKS LATER (7/04/2025). Just ordered my Fifth (5th) bucket. This old wood deck I’m removing nails from and inserting screws, keeps on needing more screws. Should have “somewhat” counted before starting the project. The star bit is good for more than the 320 screws in each plastic tub. Thanks to the seller for sending one tub at a time. Following is the first review I did weeks ago. This is the second 5# bucket of brown screws purchased to replace hundreds of nails in older wood deck. Have used a few already on another project (making steps from treated wood) and pre-drilled the holes, so don’t know if any of the heads will strip or the points break. When we pull all the old nails, these screws will be inserted easily, so no predrilling is necessary. We wanted brown so the new screws don’t show up as much in the old wood deck. Recommend and the price is pretty good compared to some of the other brands and quantities.

Good, but one big problem
These are quality screws, but they have one potentially major problem, the heads are so large they won’t fit into the barrel of a finder/driver. While they might hold a board down better because of it, this makes them far harder to drive, especially if driving a lot of them. They are working for my smaller project, but if I was doing an entire deck, no way I would use these. With the heads not fitting into the driver barrel, starting the screws is tedious, at best.
