    Truly biodegradable plant-based poop bags
These bags are my favorite. They are a bit pricey, but it is worth it to know I am not adding more plastic into the landfills. There is a lot of discussion about biodegradable vs compostable and whether or not dog poop (or other animal poop) should be composted. The answer is no, animal waste should not be put in a home compost pile, regardless of what type of bag it is in. Poop can go into some industrial composts or anaerobic digesters, but not a back yard compost. These bags will break down quickly in the proper environment, which makes them biodegradable (and not in the sense that everything eventually breaks down). These bags are all about reducing your plastic usage and input into the landfills, which is where poop goes. These bags will break down quickly in a landfill and allow the poop to contribute to further decomposition of other trash. They are even packaged in cardboard rather than plastic, which is much appreciated (although Amazon ships with plastic padding). There are specialized products out there now that allow you to compost animal waste in your backyard, and I do not know if these can be put into those composters. In any case, I appreciate the plant-based bags. They are a good size (I have a large dog), nice and thick, very soft, easy to rip, and fit nicely into standard bag dispensers. Spent the extra money and help take care of our Earth!

Perfect poop bags! Sturdy, perfect size and not harmful to environment.
The best poop bag I have used. So happy to have found them! Very sturdy, don’t have a scent. Size is great – long enough to keep hand up to wrist covered and really good durability – especially impressive for being earth friendly! I feel very confident that my fingers will not accidentally go through the bag. Isn’t that a nice thing to not worry about? Yes! I also like that the bag is long enough that there is room for a big ol’ load and still room to tie it up and carry it by the neck of the bag, not in my hand. The bags are also not so thin that it can’t contain the smell. Another bonus while in transport to dispose of it. The bag itself is not scented, which I really like. After reading more about what bags are actually biodegrade vs the companies that say that their bags are biodegradable, (the Federal Trade Commission has issued warnings about these companies being deceptive in their claims) but nope, they are not – not every green poop bag is the same. It costs more to purchase bags that will actually break down – but I hope you will consider it, when you think about how many poop bags you are filling up in a week…a month.. a year.Just a perfect poop bag. So happy I found these and bonus, I am pretty sure they are made by a small company in the USA.

I can’t believe I paid money for these
I wanted to be a little mor eco-conscious with my 1-2x/day litter box maintenance and looked for biodegradable dog waste bags to accomplish this. First, each roll has a sticker holding it together. Good luck removing the sticker without ripping a hole in the first bag. In the trash it had to go. On my second bag, I shook it out a little to open it and I ended up instantly ripping it in half from top to bottom. Back to the trash can. On my third bag, I had to gingerly scoop the waste into the bag with fear that the bag would rip from the weight of the clumping clay litter. Of course, my litter scoop was larger the the opening of the bag requiring incredible dexterity. So much for the “large” wording in the product name. Miraculously I made it to the garbage bin without a tear. Regular use of these bags will be a nightmare. BTW, I had a greyhound for 10 years and there is no way that his larger than human poops would have even remotely fit in these bags, nor would I want to attempt it with the bags’ fragility. Does anyone test their products before mass producing and selling them? Apparently this company did not. Maybe they will be okay for a toy breed. However, I will not even give these away to a toy owner because they are embarrassingly bad.

The best pet bag I’ve bought
I was a little worried when I ordered these bags. I’ve bought other bags made out of plant material in the past, and they were junk. They would tear if you looked at them wrong, and heaven forbid you put too much litter in them or caught the side of the bag with the scoop. So honestly, I expected to have to send these back. I was pleasantly surprised, though. We have two cats and two boxes. Typically we scoop twice a day, but this past week has been crazy and we’ve only been scooping once a day. I figured, okay, trial by fire. These bags stood up to it and then some.It was a little tricky getting the sticker that holds the roll closed off, but that’s the case with every pet bag I’ve bought. I was able to get it off cleanly, which is something I often can’t do with any other brand I’ve bought (compostable or not). The bags opened really easily, which was great. I feed my cats first, then scoop their boxes in the evening, so I was always annoyed when I couldn’t open a bag and then would have to go wash my hands so I could lick my fingers to get the bag open. So, while it seems like a small thing, the fact that the bags opened right up is huge for me.I was also surprised by how sturdy the bags felt. They were thicker even than the plastic ones I used to buy at the store. And they held everything in the boxes easily. I was never worried the bag would tear, nor did I have to worry about there being enough room. Everything fit and I was still able to easily tie the bag off.Plus, kind of silly bonus, but it matters to me: the design on the bags themselves is super cute.I don’t have dogs, so I don’t know how these will hold up for them, but these are great for cats.

Die Beutel sind einmalig die besten. Lassen sich super anreißen, fühlen sich gut an und groß genug für Akita Haufen

They work great for picking up cat turds in the litter tray. The material has a nice feel and not too thin, like some that makes you feel the grooves of the turd through the bag. Will get them again when I run out.

Yes! At last! Earth friendly poop scooping. These are high quality bags, large enough for big dogs and very spacious for small dogs, any mess scooped very easily. Very strong, no accidental fingernails through these bad boys, nice to handle too, not as hard as plastic is to open each bag either. Lovey scent. Worth every penny extra for peace of recycling mind, more importantly for future generations on the planet. If enough people start using them I expect the price will reduce. I am using up my plastic ones, and will not be buying plastic poop bags ever again. Only nit pick is, as other reviews, no handles but, would not want cost to escalate or bag size to reduce for sake of handles.
