This windshield shade is extremely well thought out for such a simple item! Gets amazingly small and flat in its storage bag; and yet with the smartly placed skirts around the edges, velcro strap for the rear-view mirror, and ability to expand and contract, it can cover the windshield virtually 100%. A great product at a great price! Buy it!

Easy Storage and Stops the Heat
Fantastic fit for my SUV and much more compact than the accordion style shades. Pops right into place and is easy to fold back into its bag once you’ve practiced a few times. Stores perfectly in the side nook of the driver or passenger seat. Good quality and looks sleek.

It’s okay…
I had the same windshield shade cover for 13 years and decided that I wanted a new one. I chose this because it seemed really practical and it boasted about how it would reduce the internal heat some. There is absolutely no change. It’s still 100° plus in the car. This doesn’t change the internal temperature at all, but what it does offer is a full coverage across your windshield so that your dash doesn’t have the sun shining directly on it and ruining it and cracking it. I think this product is OK. I probably wouldn’t buy it again. It’s actually not that easy to take the small flimsy flaps around the edges and tuck them into the corners of the windshield on the passenger side easily. I think it would have been better if it had something that would help to push edges into the corners where you need them. Do like that it has that piece that folds over the rearview mirror.
