Broken light, terrible customer service/warranty
Do not buy these. One of the strings stopped lighting 2 ft down the line just outside the return window, so I contacted Energizer customer service. I was told I would get a replacement because it was within 1 year of purchase. Then, I was told I had to pay $7 to ship the broken lights in before they would send a replacement after I paid $40 for the lightsâ½ Not worth the effort and I’m going to replace the rest of my Energizer products because of this.

After two months of testing, I found that they performed as advertised, though not without a few key limitations.The Best Features* Ample Length: With an impressive total length of 20 feet (two 10-foot strips), these lights offer significant potential to transform an indoor or outdoor living space. I installed one strip under my sofa in the living room, and as the video shows, it has beautifully illuminated the space with vibrant, dynamic colors.* Adjustable Settings: These RGBW dimmable LED light strips offer a huge number of lighting combinations. They come with several preset modes that can be controlled manually, and the free Energizer Connect App unlocks countless more options that are easily controllable via your cellphone.* High Customization: The app allows you to create custom light sequences, making these strips incredibly versatile. Okay, but there are better
With this being a name brand, Energizer, my expectation was that the product would be very good. As far as lights go, it is okay. There is nothing particularly special about it. Also, there is no white in there, so you canât get a good white color. You canât connect the strips to each other, so you have multiple plug ins for two strips.All that would be okay, but the most annoying thing is the app. Iâm so sick of companies wanting to take all of your information for everything! Seriously, you need location just so these 20 foot strip lights can be used? Absolutely ridiculous! So under the guise of giving you the ability to adjust your color more, you will then get to give them all of your information.Also, incredibly overpriced for what you get. I wouldnât buy them again, or recommend them.

These light strips are just okay for me. I have a number of these straps from different manufacturers. Most are from no name generic Amazon sellers so I was expecting a big upgrade from a big name like Energizer. These are pretty mediocre. There are two separate strings that both require their own power source. They work fine but they should be something you can attach to one power source. The app is decent and the lights themselves are fine. I guess I would say that these are okay as long as you have two separate small areas you want to light up.

Wish they were brighter
Lots of color options with these lights. Easy to install and use. There’s no adhesive, just clips you tack onto the wall, but the wire is so thick, they barley fit. While I love the color, the lights are not bright at all. At least not bright enough to provide significant illumination. More for ambience than to light a spot under the counter for instance.They work well, just not what I had in mind.

Good, but not that bright of an idea
These Energizer Smart Neon LED Light Strips are pretty cool for adding some color, but letâs not kid ourselves â thereâs nothing super special about them. The biggest letdown is that you canât connect multiple strands together; each strip has to be plugged in separately, which really limits where and how much you can light up. For â20 feet,â theyâre not exactly covering the yard.On the upside, I do like that they work with Alexa, and the Energizer app is surprisingly user-friendly (which is more than I can say for some other smart lights Iâve tried). So, if you just need a pop of color and donât mind playing plug-and-play with multiple outlets, these will do the trick. Just donât expect them to light up your world in one go.
