It just works.
This is the best texturizing/volumizing product. I recently permed my very fine hair, and this gives it the volume it needs. It not only gives the illusion of thicker hair, but it actually feels thicker to the touch. It’s kind of crazy. I had a friend who has very thick curly hair try it, then my mom with short/straight/thin hair tried it. It worked perfectly for all of us. It’s like it just adds awesomeness to any hair type.

I’ve been using Surface Push Powder for years. I have very fine, straight hair. The key for my hair type is to put this on the scalp when hair is wet – and THEN blow dry. Adds a ton of texture and volume!

This product is the catâs meow. I have short, thin, fine hair and it gives my hair lift, body, and volume. My hair looks and feels thicker. I can also have a sassy look to boot. I recommend this to anyone with the same hair type.

Love the performance, cautiously optimistic about price
My stylist recommended this and I really like it a lot. It works best to add grit and texture to hair and works better if you don’t shampoo your hair every day. It works really well with the natural oils in your hair for absurdly playful texture and volume possibilities. I’m having a blast with it.My only complaint is that I don’t know how much is in the container because it feels very lightweight to start with. I use about a nickle-sized pile in my palm and gently get my other hand involved for covering my hair as evenly as I can. Doesn’t feel sticky or crunchy like using a spray or mousse sometimes can. I’ll probably buy again unless the canister doesn’t last as long as I think it should. It’s pretty expensive, you know?

My secret to awesome hair
People are always asking me âdid you get a blowoutâ I donât even know what that means. This product can give you volume. Iâm a professional and my appearance means everything In my industry. This is how you get âbig hair or âTexas size hairâ Without this product, I would have to be a daily washer. This product somehow keeps my hair grease free. All I have to do is roll out of bed and brush it a little bit and the volume is still there. I could go a week without washing and saves me a lot of time doing my hair. This is my big secret to beautiful hair. Canât live without it.

I have tried many different powers to add texture to my fine/soft but healthy hair and this is by far the best. For a reference point, I have healthy (but colored) blonde hair with very closed cuticle, therefore my hair is very “slippery”. I usually use a watered down volumizing “root boost”. This powder will last for several months, as very little is needed to accomplish the result I’m looking for. Be very careful not to use too much…it will create so much “texture” a wide-toothed comb wont make it through! If used properly, you wont even need hairspray!!
