The Shark IQ Robot Vacuum RV2302AE features powerful suction, multi surface cleaning, and cleaning customization. With Precision Home Mapping, the robot uses its 360° LiDAR vision to scan your home and build a detailed map, enabling fully autonomous movement. This also allows your robotic vacuum to detect and avoid objects in its path day or night. The multi-surface brushroll pulls trapped debris, dust, and pet hair from carpets and hardwood floors. Forget about vacuuming with the self-empty base that holds up to 60 days of dirt and debris. With Matrix Clean, the robot cleans using a precision grid taking multiple passes over dirt and debris, leaving no spots missed. Customers say

Customers find the robotic vacuum efficient at cleaning, with one noting it vacuums every room until done. The device is easy to set up and use, with quick and easy mapping capabilities, and works well on its own. The functionality and value for money receive mixed reviews – while some appreciate the app scheduling, others report issues with the base stopping working, and opinions on value are divided between those who find it worth the price and those who consider it trash. The noise level and ease of use also get mixed feedback, with some finding it not too noisy while others note it’s loud during emptying, and while many say it makes life easier, some find it frustrating.

    Exceeds expectations
I did a ton of research before buying a robo vac. This is perfect and I can’t understand how or why any additional technology would be needed or why I’d want to pay more for it. This vacuum gets the house so clean and the self empty is absolutely necessary so you don’t have to worry about it not getting a full cleaning in because it gets too full. It just goes to the base, empties itself and then goes back to its last location. My biggest concerns in buying one of these were a vacuum that constantly got stuck on things and a vacuum that missed cleaning areas if furniture was in a slightly different location. This vac is fantastic, cleans every inch of my home, transitions from hardwood to carpet with no problems and I’m amazed at the areas it fits itself into so it can clean. It gets under my dish washer and fridge, transitions on and off my marble near the fireplace and handles our welcome mats without issue. It also seems to have a certain level of intelligence where it has gotten more confident in certain areas of my home. Set up and mapping was so simple. Another cool feature is that you can update your map at any time to add different rooms or change dimensions. For example I have an open kitchen/family room. At first I labeled that area as 1 room. I then edited and created 2 rooms so that I can select just one of those areas if I want to get an individual area cleaned at any given time.Let me address some of the negatives I read in reviews. Noise- not too noisy, when emptying it’s a little loud for about 6 seconds, no big deal. Battery life- no problem for me. I can spot clean any time I want. I have it scheduled to do a full clean at 12:00am every night. As a result it doesn’t matter if it stops to charge in between cleanings. App limitations- not a problem for me, I prefer the simplicity. You can on demand have it clean one room or multiple rooms with the touch of a button. You can have it spot clean an area by touching the area on the map. Scheduled cleaning- only lets you schedule all rooms, you can’t schedule just 1 room. Not a problem. I select rooms as needed throughout the day, for example if kids were messy at lunch I select kitchen. But I like that it cleans my entire first floor every night. Also while it’s cleaning you can alternate the power which is nice. Bin storage- some people say it won’t last 45 days, I’m not gross enough to let it sit for 45 days. But there is more than enough space to not worry about it overfilling if I’m on vacation for a while. Otherwise we tend to empty it every couple days because we love seeing how much dirt it collected lol.In review, this is the best product at the best value. Anything more expensive isn’t needed because this gets the job done (amazing cleaning without getting stuck on things). Anything cheaper I wouldn’t have confidence in cleaning power/navigating. I rarely leave Amazon reviews but based on all the research I did I felt I should pass this info along to all of you.

    Caveat Emptor
I rarely write 1 star reviews, preferring to give the benefit of the doubt. But I will definitely make and exception in this case, in hopes of preventing anyone else from going thru what I have with this product. This is not my first Shark Robot vacuum, it is my second. The first one worked pretty well for almost a year, and there was an accident and the robot got wet. I called, and asked if it could be serviced, as I was willing to pay to have it repaired. The support person said they don’t service them, but offered to sell me a battery. If the battery didn’t fix the problem, I could send it back for a refund, minus shipping, which one way was almost half of the cost of the battery. I opted out. They offered me a discount, on a new one, but it was still way to expensive to buy it direct.Instead, i opted to check reviews and purchased this model. It took a while to get, as in over a week and a half, maybe two, so we were anxious to get it back up and running. I purchased the Shark because of how well the previous model worked. From the start it had issues. My house is large enough that it can’t complete the cleaning run without return and recharge, a feature it is supposed to carry out. Unfortunately, long before it would get half way thru the run, the robot would stop, often in the middle of the floor, and the message would be my roller is stuck and I cannot move…. since it was scheduled to run while we were at work, by the time we got home the battery would be dead and it would have to be put back on the base to charge and try the next day.The next day, if I didn’t check it before leaving for work, it would not run because it was disconnected. I had to hold the clean button down until it completely turned off and then put it back on the base to have it reconnect. The next time it failed it said it could not empty the dust bin. This robot is not very different from the previous model, which I had cleaned weekly for almost a year, so I am very familiar with disassembly and cleaning the robot, I checked, there is nothing blocking the ports and the bin was completely empty on the robot and the docking station. At this point I felt there was something wrong, so I called Shark Ninja, the wait time was over 90 minutes, so I opted for a return call. It took about an hour before they called back, and I was on the call for almost 30 minutes. The tech determined that it was a firmware issue and that the update would need 24 to 48 hours to run. He had me cancel the scheduled run, this was at 2032 local time on Tuesday evening. It was scheduled to run again on Friday morning. He told me this would be plenty of time, and that it should run just fine. I did as instructed, confirmed with him that the robot was on the dock, and not scheduled to run before Friday, and was connected according to the app.Fast forward to Friday morning, I prepped the house making sure there were no obvious obstructions, and when I opened the app to make sure it was scheduled to run, it was disconnected again. I thought perhaps this was a result of the firmware update, as I’m an IT guy by trade and familiar with electronics and firmware updates. I held the button down and turned it off, put it back on the dock and watched to make sure it said connected before leaving for work.I came home and it was on the dock, and my message was that it could not empty the dust bin. I checked, there was nothing in the bin, and there were no obstructions in the dock or the robot that would prevent emptying if it had anything to empty. I called tech support again, and the guy started making excuses that it takes 48 business hours for the firmware update and that it hadn’t been long enough and wanted me to leave it for 48 business hours to see if it would update. I told him I was tired of waiting on them, and that I wanted to return it, which is an inconvenience in itself, and have them send me another one. He refused, I told him he could rest assured this was the last Shark product I would purchase, and that I still had time on my Amazon order to return it.I filed for the return, and it tells me I may have to wait another 30 days after they receive it before I get my refund.Buyer BEWARE!!! If you buy one and it works, great! if not, you will spend countless frustrating hours on the phone with Shark Ninja support trying to get a resolution. Me, I’m going to buy another brand. I’ve got a cheapo Yeedi at my business that works better than this! If I could give negative stars, I would!

    Lazy cleaning at its finest.
I like this vacuum. I could clean areas two and three times in a day and still have a charged battery. And better yet, I don’t have to be home to do so. I am satisfied with my vacuum. Definitely for people who get tired of pushing a vacuum cleaner back and forth. You do have to set “no-go” zones for some spots on your cleaning map in your home. Other than that, this vacuum is easy to set up, and use. The app gives you full control of the vacuum, and sometimes when it “falls off a cliff” you can find the vacuuming easily with the app. You may have to use the “Matrix” cleaning setting to get that deep cleaning you want, but not necessary when you set the vacuum for routine cleaning throughout the week. A great buy for lazy people who still like cleanliness.
