These metal roofing screws are sharp and strong with a. Ice neoprene washer for sealing around fasteners. Iâm pleased with the color and after installation the paint was only nicked minimally.

IT works well on old tin roofs from the 1970s as it zips into the old nail holes for a solid anchor.

Not like the days of old screws
seems to be an ok screw, not like the days of old roofing screws, the screws of say 10 yrs ago had more washer to them. these not so much, have bought other brands, all the same, skimping on the washers, adding more metal, which won’t seal the leaks.

Just used these to replace the old dried up screws in my barn. They all went in fine. We were mostly using existing holes but worked fine when piercing new ones. Will update after winter ð

Not well suited for metal roofing
Screws struggled to pierce 26 or 29 gauge metal roofing and the hex head of the screw was very small so screw came out of the bit with the slightest pressure. Magnet in the bit would not hold the screws, so installing them required two hands… which is not a smart way to keep yourself on a roof. For every successfully installed screw six of them came out of the bit and slid off the roof.They’re not completely useless. The plastic box is durable and, with the remaining screws, now holds a fishing buoy at the bottom of a lake.

I like the size of the screw head,I was tired of dealing with the 1/4″ screw head, sometimes hard to work with them in tight spaces due to the size of the head

Good for temporary or side projects
Easy to use and cuts into metal sheets ok. Wouldnât say theyâre self tapping. Iâve had another that were coated and theyâre rusting after 2 years
