Klein Tools’ first fully glow-in-the-dark fish tape. The unique clear case permits ambient light to easily charge the glow tape and tip, providing a bright glow for use in low light. The fiberglass tape is fully removable from case for one-way wall cavity, drop ceiling, and conduit pass through feeding. The anchor end features a stainless-steel fish rod connector so any of our fish rod accessories can be attached to the end of the fish tape, allowing this fish tape to also function as a super-flex glow rod. An optimal fish tape for installing wire or cable behind walls and ceilings, in short box-to-box runs and branch circuits, or in flexible tubing. Bought to fish thru conduit that had wires already. Worked great , never liked using metal fish tapes to pull more wire in conduit with wiring already installed. This tape penetrated and pulled easily.

It glows in the dark, but don’t kink it.
I bought this for the glow in the dark feature that I thought would make it easier to locate in small tight spaces. The second time I used it, I accidentally kinked it when trying to pull it out of a hole. The kink rendered it pretty much useless when trying to push it into a space.

Wish I would have had this long ago!
I am always pulling wires and normally use my Ideal set which are 6ft sections. I lost them off the back of the truck of course so thought I would try this. The best part about this is that it is much more portable. 6ft sections were a bit long for transporting and I always had issue with rods unscrewing INSIDE the wall while trying to fish them through. With the Klein fish tape you get 20ft which is plenty for most jobs. When it isnât you can easily remove it from the case and screw additional rods onto it. It is a little more flimsy than the Ideal push rods but that hasnât been an issue for me so far. My only complaint is that both ends should have been made to be able to attach different ends. If the end breaks you are stuck buying a new fish rape because there is no replacing it unless you were to rig something up.

Used this to install a rear dash cam in an Audi recently. The glow in the dark tape and clear window so you can see how much length you have left is fantastic. The soft tip allows you to confidently push through tight spaces. The reel can be a bit stiff to wind and unwind but I expect this to ease over time as it gets broken in.Overall would purchase again and highly recommend.

it works, but there are cheaper options that work just as well. Glowing doesn’t work well in my opinion and not worth any money. Does not rotate well and binds up, so look else where imo.
