Computer Freezes Constantly after 5 months use
I bought this Laptop late last year 2024 to use it for my remote job in sales. I’d say I use it 45-50 hours per week. The computer started freezing about a month ago, while that’s ok and we can’t control it, my 1 star review is mostly because the support process is rather complicated. I’m an international buyer, bought this computer here through Amazon USA and had it shipped to my country the Dominican Republic. I’m now calling Lenovo to make a warranty claim and it turns out that my computer was shipped from United Arab Emirates (what does that have to do with me?!) and because of that they can’t cover my warranty in the US which is where the laptop was delivered. I was even willing to travel back there to get it fixed if needed. I feel this is a nasty trick from this manufacturer to evade responsibilities if the product malfunctions. The customer buys from a company, and we don’t have a saying about where the product is shipped from. For that reason, I give them a 1 star rating and would not buy from this seller if you’re in the US or worse if you’re an international customer.

Problems since I received the laptop and Customer Service is not helpful
I have had issues with this laptop from the get-go. First, the power cord was frayed and I immediately requested a new one. However, Customer Service offered a measly $20 for the trouble. This was unacceptable because it was a brand spanking new computer and the cost to replace the charging cord is way more than $20. I had to do it at my own expense. Then, every time there is a Windows update, I get the blue screen of death and I have to hard boot it. I am concerned that one day the laptop will stop working all together (hope not). As for the tech specs, it does have a SSD so it does boot up quickly and I expanded the memory and the battery does last a while. However, with all the problems for a brand new laptop, I cannot in good conscience give it more than 2 stars. Find something better.
