    Informative and Encouraging
This book provides a lot of information and tips for beginners looking to start a raised bed garden. While some of the suggestions seemed a bit too good to be true, I appreciate the author’s enthusiasm and encouragement. It’s a good starting point for anyone looking to dip their toes into gardening without feeling overwhelmed. I can’t wait to get started and see how it goes.

WHAT A HELPFUL & GOOD READ!
I am stepping into a holistic life style and want to grow more of my own fresh organic vegetables, fruits and herbs! I had an idea on gardening much that plants need sunlight, soil and water but nothing beyond that! I bought this book and have indulged in the step by step instructions on how to build my own raised garden bed, the important and essential information from soil to perfect time to plant! If you’re looking for the how to instructions and guide on starting a garden. This is your book! Excited to start my garden journey!

    Good.
This book is very basic so if you’re a beginner, you’ll get something out of it. For those with a little knowledge, this book won’t teach you anything new. It is far from “the only book you’ll need.”

    Raised Garden Beds
After learning more about the “how” of gardening, I’m inspired to give raised bed gardening a go. I often say I don’t have a green thumb, but in truth I just haven’t taken the time to learn how to do it successfully. This is a comprehensive guide to planter-gardening, great for beginners.

    Great Book
It’s a good beginner book for raised bed gardening. It’s full of information and is a good read. Talks about soils, compost and how to plant etc. The steps keep you from being overwhelmed, but once you start your process it becomes a piece of cake.

    Easy and enjoyable to read.
This book is easy and enjoyable to read. I had a large gardening book I boy guy t a long time ago and it was intimidating so it just sat on a shelf and I never got motivated to start a garden. This book can be read within a day and got me excited to start my journey into gardening. Practical tips with options on how to save money and when to plant what at each time of year.

good, but doesn’t live up to title
THE GOOD: If you’re a novice gardener looking for an easy to read book that might inspire you and help you create a raised bed garden, this might be a good choice.THE BAD: This book has a considerable amount of useful raised bed gardening advice, but not nearly enough live up to the title “the only raised bed gardening book you’ll ever need.” If you’re looking for an in-depth book packed full of useful information about raised bed gardening, this is not it. I think this book could have benefited from having a lot more, cold, hard facts and a lot less of an attempt to fill up space by appealing to the emotions of the reader.

I learned so much from this book about raised bed gardening! I really appreciated tips like using vinegar and aspirin for garden health to help reduce the need for chemical solutions and tips on planning and constructing your garden; there were so many points I didn’t know or hadn’t considered. I really enjoyed this book and I’ll be referring to it in the coming gardening season.

It’s not a subject I knew much about – but something I wanted to investigate – as I’m thinking about doing this to grow veg at home. Thanks for all the hints and tips. I feel like I now have a good grounding (ha ha …sorry!) in what to do next. Cheers
