This is really good as a fast way to get close to center. For most work I use it on I don’t need micron levels of accuracy so this gets me a close as I need to be. If I do need tighter accuracy, I use a dial indicator to finish off the adjustment, this “center finder” gets me very close. Great value for money if used correctly.

I love having faster ways to do things. This is much faster than edge finding. I did a couple trial runs with this. Would use it to find center then use the conventional edge find both sides then half for center. Was getting within on average .005 – .007â of true center. Good enough for punching quick holes in tubes and suchâ¦

Get what u pay for, Fair price but low quality
I guess i was hoping for something a little better quality. If i was doing work that required tight tolerances i would need to invest in a better one. there is some play in the pivot joint due to a cheap rivet – attached pic. Its going to work for my use and the price is fair so I’m giving 4 stars.
