Nice pedals, but overall wheel set is disappointing
This is an affordable entry-level wheel with fantastic pedals, but the overall design is lackluster. The wheel has a cheap build, bad button layout, and lacks compatibility.The Positives: The “Hall effect” pedals are great. They have a chrome finish, and have the perfect amount of resistance. The price is affordable and it includes a gear shifter, which costs extra on other wheels.The Negatives: The steering wheel feels cheap. There is no leather, you do get a rubbery texture, but leather feels 100x better and has a more authentic feel. The button layout is bizarre. The directional pad buttons are in a very inconvenient place, making them impossible to use when driving. The face buttons are split between left and right sides, which make no sense. Just a very unnecessarily confusing layout. There is no resistance on the wheel, and the force feedback was weak. There are also issues with game compability. The steering wheel was OK with Forza, but for many other racing games (like Need for Speed), it didnt even recognize the wheel. Lastly, the steering wheel was not fully compatiable with the racing seat and mount that I had.Overall: This is a decent steering wheel for the price, but for a bit more, you are better off gettng a Logitech G series.
