SwitchBot Floor Lamp supports Matter via Wi-Fi and can be integrated with Apple Home or Google Home (requires a Matter-compatible hub, eg. Apple TV). Go to the device settings page via the SwitchBot app, click ‘Matter Setup’ to enter Matter add mode.

Yes. SwitchBot Floor Lamp uses a dual architecture of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Even if the network connection is unstable or interrupted, you can still control the device via Bluetooth.
How to perform Matter Setup on SwitchBot Floor Lamp without using the APP?
Resetting Factory Settings. Press and hold the On/Off button and Music Mode buttonsimultaneously for 15 seconds until red, green and blue lights flow through your lamp.

Sleek, easy set-up & great integration with Alexa
Ok this is a pretty cool lamp.This was absolutely an impulse buy but with $25 off I thought it would be worth trying for my room – and so far it seems great!Assembly wasn’t too tough, though the screwdriver that’s included with it is garbage (the phillips-head “teeth” are too small).Takes about 10 minutes to assemble and get working, then you can use the Switchbot app to configure it. Bluetooth initially then it connects to Wi-fi (2.4Ghz only). The switchbot app makes it easy to control – and if I’m not near my phone I can just ask Alexa to adjust it.There’s not much more to say – it’s a lamp. It’s modern-looking and it’s easy to set-up. No complaints.

Not what I hoped for
It works more like a room mood light. Not very good for activities like reading or seeing. The color variance is restricted, like picking a color between red and orange it gives a very red or very orange color. I also had difficulty getting it to work with Home Assistant. It is still a good light just not quite what I wanted.

Amazing Product Amazing Support Amazing Look
This lamp is amazing. Firstly, it was super simple to unbox and set it up. Instructions were very clear and the setup is just a few screws. Super simple. Next the app is amazing, super response super quick. My favorite part however is the support for matter so I can already include it into my own smart home and control it with both the app and my own app. Super amazing that everything is supporting this new standard and especially happy it came on my new lamp. Easy way to light up a room and not have it be overbearing like an overhead light might be. Not to mention it’s a super clean and sleek look that can fit into any room and not look out of place.

Perfect in the corners of our room for the darker mornings and evenings. We have them connected to Apple home and on a schedule. They get really bright! We use them at about 30% for ambient light.

This is one of the best lamps Iâve ever had. Itâs easy to assemble following the instructions in just 10 minutes, instantly sets up and connects to Wi-Fi, quickly integrates with the Matter protocol, and then appears in Apple Home. You can control it with Siri voice commands, widgets, or the Control Center. Itâs quite bright and very well made! Highly recommended!

Best Matter-certified floor lamp for the price. I considered the Govee Matter-certified floor lamp, but it was nearly double the cost. The only downside is that the setup instructions could definitely be clearer.

Easy set up, beutiful colors!
This is an excellent floor lamp (and can be mounted horizontally too!) It took me about 10 minutes to set it up and get it paired with the switchbot app. I think its great that its matter certified and I got that working in my home as well. (with the google nest Home Max) The colors are outsanding and the effects are pretty cool too. I have only just begun playing around with the different effects and how you can set up the colors. It’s really just so beautiful. I am thinking of getting a second one and mounting it horizontally under my tv or behind my TV stand. All and all I recommend this for anyone looking for a beautiful floor lamp to add some bias lighting to your room. Love it!

What an amazing light, part of a much bigger smart home system.
I honestly had no idea what this light was when I bought it, it’s a ‘SwitchBot’ light. And what does that mean? This is actually part of a much larger system that is a smart home system. You have to go to the Play Store, download and app, connect to the internet, and set up an account which gives you access to the whole system. For example, you can choose to ‘Alert When I’m Home’, where indoor and outdoor activities are monitored. They suggest several smart devices including a video doorbell, contact sensor, outdoor spotlight camera, pan/tilt camera, water leak detector, outdoor and spotlight camera. It also has other settings like ‘Plant Care’ with a bunch of other water meters and moisture detectors that will water your plants when they are dry. There are 18 different automations, each of which need a variety of sensors and devices. It can control your heat, air conditioner, wake you up, sleep settings, clean your house with a robot while you are away, monitor safety, turn lights on and off when you arrive and when you leave… WOW I took a photo of all of the parts of this light and at first the assembly seemed way too complicated, but it was actually really easy to put together and it only took maybe 15 minutes. The app, creating an account, and connection to the internet took just as long LOL. And it took awhile to really understand what I had and what I was getting into. This light is a very small part of an amazing system. This light actually can flash to music, it must have a built in microphone. It did good on some songs, but it struggled with Pantera LOL. I’m totally blown away by this smart home system.

Quality item, brilliantly packaged with everything needed to turn the lamp into base standing or horizontal stand.It is worthwhile to take time to look through the pictorial guide or watch the video prior to assembling. 15 minutes max using the supplied screwdriver.Many different options to control smart actions, from simply using the in-line controller, voice activation (hub needed) or app (hub needed).Lamp uses the latest technology to provide RGBIC + CW + WW full-spectrum lighting which gives you warm and cool whites and displaying multiple colours simultaneously.Slim and sleek profile this space-saving, minimalist design lamp can be placed anywhere to provide a premium dynamic ambience.In the app you have the following four options, White / Color / Effect (26 preset) / Music (dynamic music sync using built in controller mic).For my installation I have it in the corner of my lounge (led strip facing walls). The supplied cable length is generous and base stable.I can now control the lamp using Alexa / Google (although I cannot find a definitive list of commands it does the basics of turning on/off, setting a colour and changing brightness).Through the app I have an automation option to turn on the lamp at sunset with a 15 min fade in and to turn off later with a 60min fade out.The app has too many opinions for controlling the lamp in this review, namely times, triggers, scenes etc, but most scenarios you could ever think of are catered for.I like the manual controller of the lamp, so other people who are not aware of the smart controls can still operate the lamp.Have tried lamp Matter integration to Apple HomeKit successfully although controls are very basic (on / off / 0-100% /colour).

The whites are nice and soft, and the colour-changing modes create a calming atmosphere. Great lamp all round! Comes with wall fixings, in case you would rather have it attached to the wall.
