Quality issue
reasonable comfortable but price seems a bit high for the chair. Had 10 months now, the seat height adjustment works but the hydraulic cylinder continues to leak down, will go back up but doesnt hold, sometimes the seat goes down all at once when I sit down. Will continue to use but very dissatisfied with the quality from a brand name that is generally good , looking for a replacement.

off center of gravity
The seat has either construction defect or design defect but the seat is off the center and it is very, very difficult to recline!!! You keep falling foreward! There is nothing Ergo about it on the contrary!

Seat Foam Not Dense Enough for Me. Otherwise OK
I was eyeing this for months before finally pulling the trigger. I wanted something with foam and similar to a car seat. Everyone is different when it comes to seating, but for me the seat is very important since I need to shift positions frequently to avoid pain. I was looking specifically for a mostly flat, cushioned, and ideally fabric seat, that doesn’t force you into sitting in certain spot all day. It appeared that the seat on this was firm, but it’s not. The foam is so cheap and non-dense that your butt sinks down almost to the hard bottom (since most of your weight is your torso, head, and butt), while your thighs and under knee area are held up by the front edge of the seat. The best way I can describe it is like it’s forcing you to sit in a squatty potty position. Unfortunately I had to return this, but I was able to test the seat out without opening anything.In order to avoid returns, manufacturers should focus on quality and providing accurate information. They should always mention the seat foam density and composition.The next chair I tried after this was the La-Z-Boy Arcadian. Unfortunately it’s bonded leather instead of fabric, but has a mostly flat seat with firm foam under your butt, and less dense foam under your thighs. The seat was great but there is negative lumbar.

The chair is comfortable but the hydraulic adjustment doesn’t hold and the chair keeps going down and needs to be readjusted

No lumbar support and it the hydraulics are terrible. I fully regret buying this chair.
