Excellent product.
Great product for bigger jobs. The foam is the usual low-expansion, but the big cans last forever, and the gun gives you extended can life – no more throwing out a half-full can when the nozzle dries up. I’m sealing a crawl space with foam boards, tough, tight, dirty job, but the gun’s been a real partner in this gig.And the gun is really a must have for big projects. It’s robust, well-made, quality materials. If you’ve never used one, the flow control knob is really key. Though it’s at the back of the gun (where your hand is), it opens and closes the very tip of the gun. So if you’re going more than a minute between sprays, close it tight. It’s a good idea to wipe the tip with a rag if you won’t spray for a few minutes. If a drop of foam dries on the tip, you’ll get a wonky bead, and you may have to clean the tip with a knife or fingernail. The tip parts all seem to be metal so you won’t wear the thing down with cleaning. You can really be an “artist of foam sealing” with this thing – you can make a fantastically tiny bead, you can get the tip in tight spaces to inject the foam, you can open ‘er up and blast a 3″ spray of foam to cover a panel. It can make for very precise work vs. a floppy spray can tip.The included cleaner is an absolute must with the gun. Every ten minutes or so I spray some on a rag and wipe the tip really well, or if I’m sealing a dusty/dirty area, I’ll get all that junk off the tip. The cleaner mounts to the gun and flushes the gun out when you remove a foam can. The cleaner also has a detachable spray tip (like any-old aerosol spray can), and a nice strong holder for when you’re not using the spray tip – it all works as a great system. Use it as a spray to clean the tip (or get foam from your hands before it dries). When you remove a can, spray the connector on the gun to clear the foam there, remove the spray tip and attach the cleaner to the gun. You’ll want a box or bag to spray into – you’ll be surprised just how much foam comes out before the cleaner. If you’re going to re-use the foam can itself, spray and wipe the orifice on the can in hopes you can fire it back up later – really blast it with the cleaner the second you take it from the gun. Use a utility knife to scrape foam from the last inch of the foam gun’s nozzle. This kit includes a bunch of plastic nozzle extensions – in my experience, they’re poorly thought-out, they blow off the end pretty quickly no matter how tight you push them on. Useless so far, maybe you could tape them on. A bag of latex gloves is in there, seems standard, haven’t tried them.

Skip the smaller cans in the big box stores….THIS is the way to go!
Nice kit of spray foam—recommended by our insulation contractor! He recommended this for small gaps to help seal up BEFORE we closed in the walls. This kit is great and includes gloves, extra tips and extenders for getting into tricky gaps! The instructions are easy to read and understand….I was a spray-foaming fool in NO time….even my husband was impressed! There is no need to buy those smaller cans in the big box store! These larger canisters are much easier!

Did not go as far as advertised
I used the product around some replacement windows. Advertised to do up to 16, I did 4 with the first can. It is certain it was a learning experience and it could go farther.Product does not adhere to material very well.
