Calibration Steps
Fill a glass with ice , then fill with tap water. Stir the ice water and let it sit for 3 minutes.Long press “CAL” till the display shows “CAL”.Insert the thermometer into the glass, making sure not to touch the sides.The reading should display a temperature approximately close to the ice water 32°F or 0°C.

I like this one! Itâs easy to use, and keeps its battery life.I like the button to turn it on. I had the orange one from Amazon and it has auto-on so it was constantly dying.Itâs a good size to keep in the drawer and fits in the hand. It was easy to clean, had no problems there.We use it a lot for chicken, and the accuracy hasnât failed us yet.Itâs plastic, but it doesnât need to be anything else for what it is! Itâs built to work.If youâre looking for simple, easy to read, and lasting battery, this is it!

I really like this particular meat thermometer. Extremely accurate, is ready to go when you turn it on. I like very much the magnet on the back so you can put it on your refrigerator or someplace metal that you can have it out there in front of you and I’ve enjoyed it. this is a good meat thermometer to start off with, but it’s slow and it bugs out often (the screen just shows “EEEEEE” instead of a temp reading). So after 2 years of using this multiple times per week, i’m now looking for a better quality one. I will keep this as a backup. But I definitely recommend getting a meat thermometer in general, it will change your life when it comes to cooking! Couldn’t live without one now.
