This kit really works
The key is to use the 3M sticky pads!Without the pads, the tool wonât create a vacuum on vinyl planks. It wasnât quickâit took me over 30 minutes to close 4 gapsâbut I was able to get them all closed in the end.The tool itself is decent quality and easy to use: just push it down onto the pad and it attaches, no extra steps. (Donât forget to remove the protective plastic before using!)I used 2 sticky padsâone near the gap and one on the last plank. Some planks were stubborn and didnât move at first, so I had to hit near the gap and the last plank. In the process, I even created another gap, so I had to repeat a few times. Eventually, though, all the gaps were fully closed.The 3M pads are reusable, though they left a little residue when removed, which I cleaned up easily afterward.Overall, Iâm satisfied with the results.

Very beefy, works and should last.
These really do work! I don’t even know how it happens, but over the years we’ve had a few solid oak flooring slats shimmy into the walls and I figured that I’d have to pull the trim eventually. I happened to run across this product by chance and the price was right to give it a shot. I’m glad I did as they worked a charm. The compact size helped to get one even close to the corner, but don’t let the smaller size fool you, they are very sturdy. Very heavy for their size. I only needed a tap, but they definitely feel like they could take a beating. Great quality and they really do work. Buy with confidence.

Easy floor fix
This actually works but I have to detract a star for it not including any instructions at all with the packaging. You’ll need to remember to print out information from the listing so you know how it works, if this is new for you.However, once you have that information, the mechanism works great. You put the suction cup on the laminate plank and — so long as it’s pretty smooth — you don’t even need to use any of the gel pads it comes with. I haven’t had any need to use them so I can’t give feedback on how well the gel pads work.If you don’t already have a rubber mallet, you might have to buy one. I already had one, so I didn’t need to figure out if there was something else you could use.

Great tool to have on hand
If you are like me, you’ve had issues with laminate floor unclipping at an edge… How annoying, I remember the days of stomping and kicking trying to slide the boards over… But those days are in the past! This thing has a decent suction capability and if your floor is textured and cannot get a good suction, there are some 3M adhesive pads you can use to get this thing to work.

Works Like A Champ
Ok we have all seen the gadgets to fix gaps in flooring. I thought this was another one of those but I was shocked when I used it. This was a dream to use. It either sucks to the floor or stick it to the floor and knock the gap out with a rubber mallet. Easy to attach and easy to use. It is well worth the money. A timesaver for flooring repairs. I recommend this door all floor installers.

Works pretty well!
This suction cup works pretty well. If there is any kind of groove on the flooring the. The suction cup wonât work. Hints the sticky pads. But if you have a smooth vinyl plank then youâre in great shape! The pack comes with a few sticky pads and itâs comes with case that wrap the suction cup when using the pad. All you have to do is push the pump while holding down the suction cup giving it a suction then use you rubber mallet to tap the flooring into place. Over all works well!
