Very convenient little garbage holder
This little thing comes in handy, no more dripping stuff going to the big garbage can. Easy to clean and so handy, it stands alone, can hang on cabinet door or can attach it to wall. I have mine on the cabinet door and it’s so handy. Not too small, no odor and easy to clean. I love it.

Square Shape â Generous Capacity (6.5ltr/6.8 quarts)
The squarish shape of the âmrbinâ stainless steel countertop compost bin makes it easy to tuck next to the wastebasket under the sink and out of the way. The stainless steel is much preferable to the ceramic bins found at my local hardware store. Both the shape and the material make this bin easy to load, empty, and clean.I wish that the lid had the double-chamber 2-filter design of my 30-year-old model. Speaking of filters, itâs disappointing that this unit did not include a replacement filter. An option to purchase filters or at least a link to filters to fit this unit in the product listing would be helpful. The filters do work very well to eliminate odors. Still, occasionally you may over pack the bin, and the filter may pick up some organic matter. In that event, the filter may be washed. Eventually a replacement filter comes in handy.I do not use countertop style compost bins to produce a viable soil amendment. Successful composting requires elements that a simple bin such as this does not provide. Rather, I use this bin to hold my peelings and such between trips from my kitchen to the composting center in my vegetable garden. If you donât have a garden but do have yard waste and/or compost material pickup with your trash service, you will find this bin is very handy for transporting your sorted scrap to those collection bins.A personal notation: I am not fond of Logo advertising throughout my personal space. This bin sits in the cupboard with the logo facing away from view.

I love this for my food waste. I have small kitchen and the footprint on the is not sticking out to far and it is very functional when I am chopping vegetables, fruit etc, I do it on the surface above where it is place over the cupboard and I just swipe all the food waste in there!

Opening is smaller than it looks. Lid apparatus is complicated and hard to clean.
The size and shape are good for limited countertop space.But.The lid apparatus is a bit complicated and wonky. It wonât be easy to get scraps inside this thing without making a bit of a mess.There are a lot of nooks and crannies around the opening. Itâs going to get cruddy right away and will be hard to clean.We returned it.

Should have gotten something like this long ago.
We were just using an old butter tub on the counter for the compost/slop but with the warmer weather it was not making it to the end of the day to be emptied without attracting bugs and smelling rank. This on the other hand does a great job and keeps the counters less cluttered.-It came in very well packaged and in perfect shape.-It is super simple to set up and use.-The lid can open two ways and it does feel a bit wonky at first but once you get used to it it operates smoothly.-This definitely keeps the smell down to the point it is not the end of the world if it doesnât get emptied every day. For instance even if you put egg shells (or something else that gets stinky quick) in here and the day is warm you will not smell it until you open it. I mean that has led to us forgetting to empty it for a few days but even so you wouldnât know.-It being closed keeps any flies or gnats and anything else from getting into it again even if you forget for a few days.-It gets rinsed every time it is emptied and cleans up well. Although when it does get left for a few days we have to wash down the whole unit. Which again was easy, some soapy water and light scrubbing and no more smell.We hang it on the inside of the cupboard and it has been a kitchen saver in this heat.

Perfect Size for My Kitchen and Keeps Odors Away
Iâve been using this compost bin for a couple of weeks, and it honestly fits right into my kitchen routine. I already use a food dehydrator for scraps, but the trays are pretty small. This bin turned out to be the perfect sizeâbig enough to collect a good amount of peels and leftovers without feeling bulky on the counter. Plus, the stainless steel design actually looks good sitting out.Itâs also really easy to clean, and the charcoal filter keeps any odors in check. Emptying it every few days has been no hassle at all, and I love that Iâm reducing food waste in a way that feels simple and doable. For me, the size alone makes it worth it, but the convenience and eco-friendly aspect are a big bonus too.
