The adapter was identified by my iPhone very immediately when I inserted it into the USB connection that is typically used for connecting my wired CarPlay system. I was instantly given the assurance that it would be easy to use going forward since the first pairing was rapid and did not need any difficult actions to be taken. Since that moment, the adapter has been able to connect to the vehicle without my intervention, and it does so automatically each time I start the vehicle. In and of itself, that convenience has brought positive changes in my schedule. I have not seen any delays while moving between applications, and navigation apps operate without any hiccups. Voice instructions are also responded to in a timely manner. Whether I’m using Apple Maps, Spotify, or making a call without using my hands, everything flows together without any interruptions. Even on longer rides, when I depend on CarPlay for constant navigation and audio streaming, the promise that there is no delay has been shown to be accurate throughout the course of real-world usage. My partner and I often ride in the same vehicle, and switching between our phones is an easy process. The adapter is able to remember both of the devices, and it will immediately connect to the one that is now active. This has proven to be of great assistance since it keeps us from having to go through the trouble of re-pairing each time we switch drivers. Apparently no quality control
It did NOT work. Keeps rebooting just as the screen of CarPlay comes on. Stuck in loop. Seller not helpful either.No wonder why all the comments are from Amazon Vine program. Also what I receive looks like in some of the images in the post, but not in the image of “Vine” viewer. Apparently the “free for review” folks got a different working type!
