Ever wish you had a circular saw you can use with one hand? The 4-1/2” Worxsaw Compact Circular Saw is for the DIY-er that wants to put a little more muscle and flexibility into their projects. We’ve gone all-in on the maneuverability angle and created a sleek, easy to use, lightweight electrical saw that quickly adjusts cutting depth up to 2” (so you can tear through stock lumber), quickly adjusts for bevel cutting from 0-45, and lets you do all your cutting with one hand by utilizing an ergonomic, comfortable grip. Its 4100 rpm will slice through 2x4s in a single pass. And the smaller blade—4-1/2” compared to the 7-1/4” of a traditional circular saw—requires less power to get up to the same speeds of much larger saws. That puts less strain on the motor and extends the life of the tool. The Worxsaw is made for wood, but it’ll cut many materials. The left-sided blade housing gives you clean lines of sight for your cuts and the dust port lets you attach a vacuum and keep sawdust out of your way. An included parallel guide will come in handy as you and your Worxsaw make quick work of the projects around your shop.
[ONE-HAND OPERATION] The newly designed slim form factor makes the Worxsaw even lighter and more maneuverable. Grab it with one hand, and you’re good to go
[2” CUTTING CAPACITY] Made to cut up to 2” thick stock lumber. It’s made for quick rip cuts around the house, too, but lumber is where it really gets to work
[EASY DEPTH ADJUSTMENTS] Just press down the lever and raise or lower the main handle until you’re at the depth you desire for the project at hand
[45 Degree BEVEL CUTS] For artistic or functional end pieces, you can come at your wood from an angle that’s just right
[DO IT YOURSELF. DO IT BETTER. DO IT WITH WORX.] Worx tools are engineered with cutting-edge technology, and above modern efficiency standards, so you can build a cost-effective tool collection that’s been designed to last
[QUICK BLADE CHANGE] Hold the red spindle lock, grab the hex key, unscrew the bolt, release the flange, switch out the blade and repeat those steps in reverse
[DUST EXTRACTION] The dust port lets you hook up a vacuum so you can keep a clean work area. It makes things safer and it’s easier to see what you’re cutting
[4100 RPM] Easily slices through 2x4s. It reaches the same speeds as larger saws on account of its smaller 4-1/2” blade
[INCLUDES] 4.5” Compact Circular Saw, Wood Cutting Blade, Hex Key

Customers say

Customers find this circular saw to be an excellent tool that works well and is easy to use, particularly noting it’s easy to operate with one hand. They appreciate its compact size, smooth cutting ability, and lightweight design, with one customer mentioning it cuts through 2×8 lumber like butter. While some customers say it’s powerful enough for most jobs, others find it not powerful enough. Customers consider it good value for the price.

    I love this saw!
I do a lot of wood working for fun projects at home and I build obstacles for horse training. I was toggling between a jig saw to cut shapes and my skil saw to cut longer straighter edges from plywood and to cut through lumber. I saw the rotorazer and thought that was what I needed but didn’t pull the trigger because of the price. After more research I came across this handy little saw and found it a better fit for me because of the light weight and the smaller grip. After looking at all the reviews I ordered it and haven’t looked back! This is a great tool and exactly what I needed, fits smaller hands, cuts through 2×4 posts without much slowing down, and it’s easy to operate with one hand. Absolutely love it. I’m so glad I didn’t go with the rotorazer that is way heavier and larger than this Worx saw which is plenty for what I do and a great value for the price.

    Good, Not Great
Was a little disappointed with the plastic guide as I think the saw would cut straighter with a slightly heavier metal guide. Not particularly power, but will get the job done. Have only cut plywood with it–we’ll have to see what it does with 2×4’s.

Easy To Use, Cuts as well as Full Size Circular with Better Control
This is an awesome little saw with everything you need to get straight cuts with ease. I am a petite, female, 5’2″, 115lbs and do much of my own refurbishing of condo and furniture. I had a jigsaw, some handsaws that would cut butter but needed that ‘extra’ oomph that you get from a circular saw. However, I had broken my left wrist long ago, then have carpal tunnel on right wrist which can make it difficult after a while due to angle needed to be held. This saw seemed to be of the right size enabling easy cutting through lumber I use. It’s got a smaller blade 4.5″ and weight is lite but what I realized right away was the handle was straight. That might sound strange but I’d been looking for one precisely made as well as this one WITH a handle that could be folded to an angle or left straight. Having a handle that can be set to an angle makes it much easier for tired or aching joints to hold easier. Just my own experience, having very small wrists as well. The saw itself, is great, has everything you need to last years, just make sure to buy the proper saw blades for your project! Sorry I had to search again.

    THIS THING KICKS BUTT
A Surprisingly Powerful and Precise Saw for DIY ProjectsAs a DIY enthusiast, I often find my full-size 7.25-inch circular saw to be overkill for smaller projects and sheet goods. It’s heavy, cumbersome, and can be intimidating for quick cuts. I’d been looking for a more compact and manageable solution, and this Worx WORXSAW has been an absolute game-changer for my workshop.First Impressions and Ergonomics:Right out of the box, the first thing you notice is the saw’s compact size and light weight. It’s incredibly easy to handle with one hand, which is a massive advantage over a traditional circular saw. The slim, inline grip is comfortable and gives you excellent control and visibility over your cut line. The build quality feels robust and durable, ready for a workshop environment.Performance and Precision:Despite its small size, this saw has plenty of power. The 4.5-amp motor cuts through 1-inch lumber and plywood without any bogging down or hesitation. Where this saw truly excels is in its precision and ease of use for plunge cuts. The depth adjustment is simple to set, and the pivoting base makes starting a cut in the middle of a panel (for things like outlets or vents) incredibly easy and much safer than with a larger saw.The included 4.5-inch, 24-tooth carbide-tipped blade leaves a surprisingly clean edge on plywood, which minimizes the need for sanding. The left-sided blade design provides a clear line of sight, so you can easily follow your marks and achieve accurate cuts every time.Key Features and Safety:The saw includes all the essential safety features you’d expect. The trigger has a safety switch to prevent accidental starts, and the blade guard functions smoothly. The adjustable depth gauge is clearly marked and easy to use, allowing for precise control over the cut depth up to 2 inches. The included parallel guide is also a nice touch for making long, straight rip cuts.Final Verdict:This compact circular saw is an outstanding tool for any DIYer or homeowner. It’s not meant to replace a full-size saw for heavy-duty framing, but for breaking down sheet goods, making quick crosscuts, and especially for plunge cuts, it is an absolute joy to use. Its combination of power, precision, and user-friendly ergonomics makes it far less intimidating than a larger saw and has quickly become one of the most-used power tools on my workbench. I can’t recommend it enough.

    Useful, but not great
This thing seems like a good idea, but it’s not as useful as hoped. First, the safety button is awkward and if you have snall hands you won’t be able to operate this with 1 hand (I have the slim model). To push the run button properly your thumb isn’t in a good position to release the safety. So I had to use to hands. Most women won’t be able to operate this with 1 hand. Older models seems to have a switch on the bottom; the side button is awkward.I used a clamped wood guide and was able to make long, straight cuts. The included guide isn’t very useful for most tasks. I wasn’t able to make the bevel cut I wanted; the blade just binded and I douldn’t get it to work at all. The blade also binds unless you get it to full speed before entering your cut. for long cuts it was difficult to get it to go straight through on 1 run. Also, you can’t make flush cuts as the bladeAll that being said, it beats manual sawing and does make small jobs just easier. I put up a bunch of shelves without the normal arm pain aftermath.

Important: the description says this cuts up to 2” but it does not. Other than that it seems like a good saw. Easy to use. I sent to back because I need a saw to cut 2” pieces of wood. If you are cutting anything less than that then this saw should do the trick.
