I went on a trip recently to Italy and this worked so well. I was able to use two of the outlet plugs and there are plenty of USB-C and USB plugs as well. So it makes it easier so I don’t have to worry about charging blocks. It worked well and I was able to charge my phone, ipad, kindle, and gaming systems without worry.

Cruise Ship Friendly Adapter!
This Universal European Travel Plug Adapter (XTD-0510) arrived wrapped in plastic inside a cardboard box, along with instructions in English, German, Italian, French, Japanese and Chinese.I like its small size (3.25″ x 2.9″) and it is lightweight for packing on an upcoming cruise, weighing in at just 3.8 ounces. It is approved for cruise ships, since there is no surge protection. Apparently surge protectors are NOT allowed on cruise ships because they increase the risk of fire. The reason this danger exists is that a normal surge protector only breaks the circuit on the âliveâ electrical wire, whereas both the âliveâ and âneutralâ wires carry current on a cruise ship. Though I am a bit worried that NOT having surge protection might damage any electronics I have plugged in.I feel safer knowing that this European travel plug adapter is certified with CE (Europe) and FCC (US) and the fact that the company tests each travel adapter before shipping, and they offer a 12-month warranty.TIP: If you are also planning to bring this with you on a cruise, before purchasing a travel adapter, you should double-check with your cruise ship to see what type of outlets are available in your room. Not all cruise ships are the same.This travel adapter also features a built-in LED light which apparently lights up Blue when there is power and Green when charging. Unfortunately, I haven’t used this yet as our cruise is scheduled for later in the year. I will update my review if I experience any problems using this device.

I used it while on the cruise. I was able to plug in several of my electronic devices to charge them. Also I was able to use this plug when I went to Spain.

Works in Brazil too!
I have this international charger for our upcoming trips and recently tested it in São Paulo, Brazil. It easily accommodated the local EU-style plugs at 110v, making it incredibly versatile. The charger features multiple USB ports with varying charging speeds; notably, the C2 port offers quick charging, which is a great bonus. I also paired it with another GAN adapter for even faster charging, effectively extending the utility of the charger without needing an additional EU-to-US plug converter. This setup proved to be exceptionally useful, keeping all my devices charged without the hassle of juggling different adapters. Highly recommend for anyone traveling internationally!

The cheap plastic that holds the prongs broke the first time we plugged it it. It comes so far off and weighed so top heavy. A better improvement would be a cord to the box vs the hard prong

Nice Adapter with a solid plug
This is not a “universal” adapter; it is for a specific type of plug used in Europe. I wanted to start out by stating that fact because buyers will want to confirm that this is what they need for where they are going. For us, it’s perfect for our trips to Italy.The number of available outlets and the USB ports are what make this really great and very useful. We’ve found that wall plugs are not “plentiful” in Europe, particularly in older homes and hotels. So, this is great, because we can get more use out of a single outlet (often the only thing available in hotel rooms).It’s great to be able to charge two phones at the same time, plus have a laptop plugged in. More importantly, because it is not a “universal” adapter that has to change for different plug types, this plug is very sturdy – it goes into the wall and stays there (something some universal adapters have problems with).Overall, if this fits the plugs for your destination, this adapter is perfect. One plug for a bunch of different devices. Excellent!
