Mash Cassidy, smooth-talking werewolf and notorious ladies’ man, has been running from his responsibilities and his pack for fifteen years. But with Harvest Fest only weeks away, Alpha’s ordering him to return home, and she won’t take no for an answer. It’s time for him to grow up and mate with a nice werewolf girl. In fact, Alpha already has one in mind.
But Mash wasn’t built for settling down, and in a desperate move to keep Alpha off his back, he drags his wolf shifter best friend Cian into another of his harebrained schemes: pretend to be a werewolf and pose as his fake-mate for two whole months.
What could go wrong? They’re just friends, and Mash definitely hasn’t been developing unusual feelings for him.
Cian Barker, hipster wolf shifter and tech whiz, has been in love with his best friend since the day they met at uni. It doesn’t matter that Mash is straight and completely unobtainable; Cian is just happy to have him in his life.
But when Mash asks him to be his fake-mate during the family’s Harvest Fest celebration, Cian might have reached his limits with how far he’ll go for Mash, at least until he’s faced with his favourite pair of puppy-dog eyes. The ones he just can’t seem to resist.
It’ll be fine. Cian can pretend—he’s been pretending for their entire friendship. Besides, it’s not like Mash will ever love him back.
The Good Boys Club is an MM best-friends-to-lovers paranormal romance, and the second in the Mythical Mishaps series of interconnected standalones. Expect the usual silliness, slow burn, lots of pining, plenty of scent marking, and a ton of praise for the bestest boy in the Eight and a Half Kingdoms.

ðº I want more. I want all your minutes. Every single one of them ðº
“I was obsessed with him. But I could only stand beside him and watch as he threw himself at everyone but me.””Well, honestly, from the moment I met you, I knew there was something different about you. I couldn’t put my finger on what, but you smelled…you smelled somehow like…mine.”This was such a sweet, hilarious, all good feel book. This was a slow burn with some good kinks ð¥ð¥. I loved the banter and interactions between all characters in this book omg. I was laughing so hard ð¤£ð¤£. This story follows Cian and Mash. Cian is a wolf shifter and Mash is a werewolf. They’re best friends and Cian has been in love with Mash since they met many years ago. Of course, this is a tale of unrequited love. It takes Mash some time to realize what he always felt was Fate and love. There was so much miscommunication between them. I was screaming Nooo just talk to one another so many times lol. I loved these two together. They were so hilarious, sweet, and sexy ð¥µð. Mash was such a golden retriever and such a good boy lol. Cian was his opposite. More grumpy and structured. These two completed each other in every way. Every time Mash wagged his tail was just too adorable ð. Highly recommend this book!

100% Yes
This is an adorable, low(ish)-angst, super funny book about two loveable fools in love.I donât know why I havenât read Jenna Croft before (although it looks like I have – I absolutely loved Rookie Recovery) but Croft is a new favorite in MM for me now.Croft makes her own rules in this PNR book (book 2 in a series) and they all work. I laughed, I squirmed, I gasped. Itâs all so damn cute and fun.Highly recommended if you like paranormal romance, spice and things that make you say âoh thatâs just not rightâ in the most delicious of ways.Read it.

I did not expect to love this as much as I do
Holy macaroni! This popped up on my KU Home Screen and I was stuck in a book slump. I decided to give it a shot. At the beginning where it said Note, I read it all and fully thought I wouldnât like this book too much. I mean, Iâve never read anything like it, so I genuinely went it blind. This was one of the best books ever. I laughed, cried, smiled so hard my cheeks hurt, and worried when the characters worried. I even broke one of my main reading rules. I usually donât read a book over 350 pages bc I have a short attention span. I am obsessed. Cian and Mash are absolutely perfect for each other. The way they acted towards one another, took care of one another, and were always there for each other was so incredibly sweet. A few decisions were selfishly made, but it all worked out in the end. This is definitely going on my reread list.

Unexpectedly Awesome!
I saw the blurb and ratings and was intrigued. It said comedy, so I expected super light. And it was, mostly, and funny, but this book has So. Much. Heart. Absolutely adorable, highly recommend.

DNF for me
I really wanted to like this story and I gave it a chance up to the 100 page mark, but I had to stop reading. I donât want to sex shame, but the fact that Mash has slept with the vast majority of females in this book and the author really likes to emphasize this throughout the parts that Iâve read so far really just turned me off to his character. I donât think Iâve read far enough to see any romantic chemistry happen between the two MCâs, but they seem to have a good friendship so far. I feel like Iâm having to will myself to read through this part to get to something potentially better, but again I donât want to read about a character who has hooked up with every female in his life that is not family. Actually, now that I think about it more in detail, itâs quite disturbing.

Fun story with likeable characters
I only usually write reviews of something if I really liked it, and this just fits that. It was simply a lot of fun. Mash was ridiculous and endearing. A golden retriever of a character. That and friends to lovers and it was just chock full of my favourite tropes.

An entertaining read
3.5* I loved the plot and the dinamic between Cian and Mash, the whole pack is great really. The story was entertaining and enthralling, but I could have done without the mentioning of dr*g use and partying – it brought no substance to the plot and was cringy af, almost stopped reading at that point, but decided to just skip that part.

adorable
Listen, I normally avoid romances described as rom-coms because the humor often takes me out of the story. The Good Boys Club doesnât have that at allâitâs sweet and funny without feeling like a joke and honestly all the slightly-ridiculous bits about werewolves just seemed to fit into the story instead of feeling like parody. These boys really love each other and totally deserve their happy ending. My only issue was that, in my opinion, the whole mutual âhiding my love so it doesnât ruin the friendshipâ thing went on a bit too longânot in terms of the storyline necessarily but in terms of time spent on it in the book. It just got a bit repetitive; on the other hand, the flashback/past scenes helped cement the readerâs understanding of why they were holding out so long, so I guess it made sense to repeat it in the present.Regardless of that, itâs a very sweet friends to lovers story with enough wolfing out to make it feel like an actual wolf shifter/werewolf book.

I’m a huge fan of Croft and the beautifully imagined Borderlands, where humans and creatures live and mix (in all the complicated, sometimes spicy ways that you can imagine!) This book had everything I love about that world: goofy jokes (omg butt sniffing!), Spicy scenes, sensually described food scenes, an adorable found family, and happily ever after. Mash may be my new favourite werewolf, and his huge, close knit family is just how werewolf packs should be written; no boundaries and fiercely loyal!Jemma Croft’s books never sit on my tbr list, they are auto-reads!

I came across this book randomly and wow I am glad I did!I usually hate miscommunication, however it was done really quite well in this book. This book was just freaking cute and hot and funny and cute.. and ugh. These two …. *Heart eyes*

So this is kind of technically my first fantasy book besides like mainstream fantasy books. I have to say it was really freaking cute, the world was soooooo different from others and the dynamics were different but no less great and entertaining. I was laughing and giggling in a lot of places, Mash is just such a big softy and I loved him to pieces.
