Great for small to medium projects
I love the corded power as I don’t have to worry about running out of battery power. This drill works well to screw things together and has plenty of torque. It can heat up a little, but the heat dissipates quick enough. This drill is light in the hand and easy to use.

replacement
Good quality seems to be durable enough for fairly heavy metals I’m using it 1/2 hard steel the low to high speed trigger is a big plus hopefully it lasts 15 years of heavy use as my old Milwaukee

Craftsman name DeWalt made. A solid drill!
A great 3/8 inch corded drill which few stores carry in stock with the cordless craze. Also, Craftsman is a DeWalt product.

Hefty and heavy duty
My 30+ year old Makita stopped working while drilling a holes in the frame of my motorcycle. This new Craftsman drill finished the job and cut through the metal easily. The torque was fantastic. This Craftsman drill is a bit heavier and larger than the old Makita, but I don’t mind if it’ll do the job. For anyone wanting a corded drill, this Craftsman is a great value in my opinion.

Bought this to replace a venerable B&D drill that served for at least 3 decades. This one is not as bulky, but the torque is amazing. I used it to drill a couple 6.5″ speaker holes through 3/4″ MDF. It powered through like it was brick cheese. Jammed the 150 mm hole saw a couple times and the motor almost twisted my arm off! Who says they don’t make things like they used to.

Only had it a little over a month but used it a fair amount. Works great with lots of power. Easy to change bits without having to use lock device like other electric drills. So much more reliable then my cordless drill. I am so glad I got it!
