GEARWRENCH Original ratcheting wrenches combine the speed of a ratchet with the access and control of a wrench. They offer the ease of 5 degrees of movement to turn fasteners, versus 30 degrees on standard combination wrenches. The small ratcheting box end head design enables access to tight spots where a ratchet won’t fit. The open end allows for easier access on tough to reach spots, making jobs go faster and easier. This set is a great addition to any mechanic tools collection.
Off-corner loading design on box end provides better grip and reduces fastener rounding
Thin head and beam provide greater access in confined work areas
Customers say
Customers find this wrench to be well-built and durable, with smooth ratcheting action that makes work easier. They appreciate its fit on 1-1/2″ nuts, and one customer mentions it works particularly well on Bobcat MT85 track tensioners. Customers consider it a great value, with one noting it doubles the speed of nut removal.

Great to have.
I’ve been a motorcoach-heavy wheel mechanic for decades, where you always run into a situation that you need a wrench like this. Designs and parts are always changing where a ratcheting wrench is lifesaver. I can’t live without them in my job.

Great value and rugged!
Every mechanical technician I work with has the GearWrench 1-1/8″ or some other brand ratcheting combo wrench as their biggest ratcheting combo wrench. Now I have this 1-1/2″ ratcheting combo wrench in my tool box and I have top bragging rights. This thing is built like a tank. Beefy. I work on 138000 to 26400 volt step down transformers for an electric co-op and use this to remove the high side bushings that are mounted on top of the transformer (I use my GearWrench 1-1/8″ ratcheting combo wrench to remove the low side bushings). Because of the way some bushings are built I cannot always get a straight shot with an impact gun. And Lord help you if you cross thread the nut/bolt assembly. So no more turning the nut one or two flats at a time with a standard open end wrench. This has doubled the speed of nut removal when an impact gun or manual socket cannot be used. All my combo wrenches and socket sets are GearWrench and they have never let me down.

Great product. Can’t beat the price.
Great product. Can’t beat the price. It’s hard to find large wrenches over 1 1/2″.

Thais worked fine.

Great investment
I work in the fracking industry and the most common mounting bolt for our power ends is 1.5 inches, three members of my crew have this exact wrench, hence why I bought one. I love it.

Good combination ratcheting wrench
Good combination ratcheting wrench. Size is quite big so take that into account before ordering if you need something in a tight space.
