Love the brightness at both daylight white and warm white. Super low dimmability both in pure light and all the colors. Lots of preprogrammed scenes. Can program your own scenes. This is a remarkable lamp. Installed in all three hallways in my house. Will get the higher lumen capacity for the garage too. Light and easy to install in the same location previous lamps were. Connectivity to WiFi and Bluetooth is very robust. Can program the three lights as a group. Probably has lots of other features I am not utilizing. Get one, you will not regret.

So simple and perfect!
Pre-Installation context: Iâm a 5ft tall, 21yr old female nail technician, living in a fairly new construction (3yr old) house with 9ft ceilings. I also currently have XL nails and have never installed a light fixture alone. The light was installed in about a 14âx12â (master) room, but thatâs just my guess on the room size.With all that said, this was probably the easiest installation I couldâve ever hoped for from buying this on a whim. Iâve never been high enough in my house to remove the plate that covered the wires on my ceiling fixture, so I had no idea what to expect other than that Iâd be connecting a few wires eventually. Iâve replaced outlets in the past in my parents house and assisted in replacing a light fixture similar to this one, but this was extremely simple compared to what I was expecting. Aside from realizing I have a fear of heights once fully atop the ladder & touching the ceiling, this was very easy and literally could be done by anyone with two hands.My ceiling fixture had 4 wires.Red- Connects to the switch on the wallBlack – Typically connected to any light fixtureWhite – Typically connected to any light fixtureBare/Copper- Live wireNow those are very basic explanations of the wires for simplicity, in case anyone else has a matching or similar set up. This light figure does *NOT* need the live wire, or the copper/bare wire. All thatâs attached to the Govee light fixture is a black and white wire, so from my understanding you can either go with just connecting those two to their corresponding wires in the ceiling, or you can connect them the way I did belowGovee Light > Black wire – Red wire > Ceiling fixtureGovee Light > White wire – White wire > Ceiling fixtureThe way Iâve explained is for anyone with a light switch connected to the ceiling fixture, hoping to also have that functionality along side the smart features. They have very easy connectors included, so all you need to do is slip the wire into place in the connector and fully snap the little lever down. Give the connector a gentle tug to ensure itâs closed and secure.If I can think of any more tips to provide Iâll update my review, but this light was overall very self explanatory and very simple to set up. It fully illuminates my room and works perfectly with my Gcync bulbs in coordination with all my Alexa devices. It looks small, but itâs very powerful and bright for this space size. Iâm actually considering purchasing more for my other bedrooms in this house, it was *that* simple.I got mine with a $20 off coupon, so around $50, and itâs definitely worth the price!! Itâs controlled by the Govee app and it works very nicely.Hope this helps!!Update: I installed a second one of these in my living room, but this time I installed the light with the colors of the wires matching. It still works with the switch! It also fully illuminates the (est.) 24x14x9 space, so this is a very powerful little light!

Great light to replace an old florescent kitchen or utility room light
With the exception of some of the outdoor devices that lack sufficient waterproofing for outdoor devices and the occasional connectivity glitch in their floor lamps, I love govee devices. I was an early smart home adopter and have used a ton of devices, no other company seems to be as creative as Govee, Cync has come a long way and has a few great options, but Govee just keeps putting out product after product. This light is notably better than a lot of the cheap smart life compatible options, granted it’s also more expensive. It’s bright, the upper and main lights can be controlled separately, and it has a good range of colors. It was pretty easy to install with snap in wire connectors, no twisting.

Iâve been updating the house I recently purchased and swapped out an old ceiling fan for this Govee light fixtureâwhat a difference! Itâs super bright and looks amazing. Setup was easy, and I love how customizable it is through the Govee app (especially if youâre already a Govee household like me). Easy to use, modern, and seriously elevates the space. Perfect overhead light for bedrooms
This light makes a great overhead light for bedrooms. The white provides strong illumination, while the different colors and scenes can create various mood lighting, from relaxing to festive. The Lightning scene is one of our favorites.I put these in all three of our bedrooms. The provided hardware and snap-in connectors make installation a breeze.

Got fed up replacing âsmart bulbsâ in a ceiling fixture and decided this was going to be a better cost benefit play. Extremely happy with the brightness and quality and installation was simple (5mins). Took a while for me to get used to the Govee app which is a lot more âbloatyâ than most (tuya /globe/ Kasa etc) that took another 10 mins to set up and link with Google Home⦠overall experience is great and I would recommend to anyone.
