Customers say
Customers find this webcam to be a reliable budget option that works right out of the box and delivers clear, 720p video with good resolution. They appreciate its ease of setup, compatibility with various operating systems including Windows 10 and macOS, and consider it good value for money. However, the zooming ability receives mixed reviews, with several customers noting that the camera is zoomed in and has a very narrow field of view.

Works great! Easy setup – just plug it in!
I have several Logitech track balls that are over 10 years old and still work fine so I thought I’d try this Logitech webcam since it was on sale and I’ve had good experience with Logitech products.I had been using the builtin camera in my old Dell laptop but now was using a larger monitor so when I looked at the monitor I wasn’t looking at the laptop camera and it seemed odd with my head always turned.I was a bit concerned about how I would hook the web cam up but fortunately it was a simple plug and play. I just plugged it into my laptop and it worked fine. The picture quality is much better than my 2017 old laptop camera. I zoom once a week with old friends who have moved away and have been using it for several months now without a problem.I do have 2 complaints:1. The instruction booklet that came with it has such tiny font that I couldn’t read it. Fortunately, just plugging it in worked (I do have a Logitech software that works with my Logitech trackman so I don’t know if that helped or not). LOGITECH SHOULD USE 12 font size in their instruction booklets. REMEMBER – baby boomers and people with vision issues also use computers and buy webcams!2. My new LG 32 inch HDMI monitor is very thin so the camera doesn’t attach securely to the top of the monitor. It will sit there, but occasionally it seems to drop down a bit and then I have to re-adjust it to aim on where I’m sitting. They should make the bracket that attaches smaller so it is more secure with newer thin monitors.I still gave it 5 stars because of the camera quality and the easy plug in setup.

The best value in desktop PC webcams. Great quality, excellent price!
This is a great little webcam for the price. It is a huge improvement in image quality over my 10+ year-old webcam that quit working. It is even better than the built-in webcam in my 2021 ThinkPad X1. It is only 1080p, and it doesn’t have all the best features you would find on a $100+ webcam, but if you are like me and just need a webcam for your online appointments that has good-enough image quality this is for you. The cheap price is great too. There is no need to spend hundreds on a webcam. A huge plus is that it works great on Linux too!

My honest review on Logitech Brio 101 Full HD 1080p Webcam
Iâve tested a lot of webcams in this price range, and the Logitech Brio 101 stands out for its clarity, ease of use, and build quality. The 1080p resolution delivers a crisp and vibrant image, and the auto light correction is a game-changer if youâre in a room with poor lighting. Setup took less than 2 minutes â just plug and play. The microphone quality is surprisingly clear as well, making it perfect for Zoom calls, streaming, or online classes. Overall, this webcam is an excellent value and performs like a much more expensive model. Highly recommend if youâre looking to upgrade your setup without breaking the bank.

Works right away. No setup required.
This is a great basic webcam. Not super high definition or anything, but it’s seamless plug and play. No setup required. It worked instantly with Zoom. I like the privacy cover on it, too. I don’t usually keep my camera plugged in, I just use it for a weekly Zoom call, but if I did, I’d use the privacy cover often.

Nice little camera
This webcam works great. It is super easy to install; just plug into usb port and place the small camera atop the monitor. That’s it. The picture is sharp, color is real, and there are no shadows.

Good Value, reliable device
This camera has been around for awhile. Not a lot of bells and whistles but reliable and does the basic job at a very competitive price.

Mediocre at Best, Lacks Standard Features.
Screenshot is from my Twitch channel. Blue border is just an OBS plugin. Overall quality is pretty accurate. I have to use a LUT to make the colors pop as they’re otherwise fairly flat. Ease of use is plug & play but you lose features compared to other Logitech cams, video quality is acceptable but not good, microphone sounds like tinny garbage. Also no 1/4″ mount? REALLY?! Only plus is the little silicone privacy cover. Other than that janky cheap camera is a janky cheap camera. If you intend to use it as a tiny window camera for bird watching streams it’s fine but I wouldn’t use this thing for much else. For context I’ve been streaming for over a decade & would legit consider myself an authority on webcams and specifically Logitech cams. This thing isn’t C270 or C310 bad in regards to the video quality but at least those had full controls to try to do something with the hot mess coming off the sensor. I would say give this thing a hard pass and just spend a little more on something better or get something with more controls. Only reason I give it a 3 is the resolution and overall video quality are actually fairly decent for a $40 webcam, even if you can’t do much with that image without 3rd party software you could always just use OBS filters and pipe it out of OBS into Zoom and other software as a virtual camera.TL;DR: Mediocre at best, hard pass -(guy who has bought a LOT of Logitech cams over the last 15 years)

Perfectly cromulent
The functionality is great, you don’t even need to have the Logitech application installed to use it or set it up.The sound quality is okay, manageable for the price but I recommend using your own microphone if you have one.The colors of the video are okay too, the brightness as well. Do note that the auto adjusted brightness tends to glitch a little if you turn the camera on with the privacy cover still on top of the lens, but you just have to turn off and on the camera again.I’ve been using this for months now, and it does the job very adequately. It fits my needs, I like it and I don’t need anything better (with a higher resolution or anything like that) than this.

This webcam is a great work cam. The picture is sharp at 1080p and the colours look natural. Plugged it in and it worked. The mic quality is clean and clear. For the price, itâs a no-brainer.

this is an awesome camera I love it it’s easy installed right over the box and works fantastically I’m actually writing this using the Microsoft application and it is fantastic. I highly recommend it. And the seller is incredibly fast,

Bought the Logitech Brio 101 for a better experience with my three-screen setup, and it’s perfect! No more relying on the laptop camera. I love how it allows me to focus on my main screen. The default settings work great for me, so no need for adjustments. The sliding privacy shutter is a big plus â super convenient and great for privacy, especially with the indicator light showing when the camera is in use.The built-in mic, while convenient, may not offer the best sound quality compared to external options. Personnally, I disabled the built-in mic to use my microphone. Highly recommend for anyone with a similar setup!Additionnally, It’s worth noting that the 1080p resolution is just alright. It provides decent quality for meetings and streaming, which works fine for everyday use. However, if you’re looking for that high-end, professional YouTube video quality, this might not hit the mark. It’s more suited for standard video calls rather than for content creators seeking exceptional video clarity.

After using this webcam for half a year and have traveled with it. Iâm quite happy.- Has great quality streams- It has a lens cover- easy set up- very compactHowever it struggles with lighting in places with no curtains or overall bad lighting. The neck canât go too far up/down.But for the price I bought it at this is a steal therefore everything heavily outweighs the con. I also donât struggle with bad lighting so it would be a 5/5 for me.

Works great! I know itâs not their premium lineup, but for someone who needs it for daily casual chats, the camera performs wonderfully with decent picture quality. Iâd recommend it.
