Good value, nice upgrade for older vehicles
Installed this in my ’92 OBS Ford Bronco. The screen size was a little too large for the opening so I had to sit the mounting bracket out just a touch from the opening, but it’s held in tightly. The unit comes on quickly and works good with my android auto. Wound up installing a better quality back up camera and the picture is pretty good. Radio works nicely, install was super easy. Great upgrade for an old vehicle. You can’t go wrong at this price.

Short lived.
Well, it seemed decent. Until it just stopped working 5 months later. Went for a drive and it wonât turn on. I checked power at the harness and itâs 12.7v. 10a fuse on the back of the unit is good. So I assume it just died. Live and learn I guess, but save your money. I messaged the seller, Iâll update my review if I hear back from them.

Nice upgrade for an older car
Very nice Bluetooth radio that has CarPlay and it works great. Good value sounds good best bang for your buck if you have limited space, easy to install.

Good option for the price if you can’t use a double din unit and want CarPlay
I bought this for my 88 C4 Corvette, which has an old Bose OEM unit and I wanted CarPlay. Unfortunately the double din units are too large and would require some ugly modifications, so this was a nice compromise and gave me an option one a single din with CarPlay.What I liked about it:1. I liked that the unit supported wireless CarPlay and it worked perfectly.2. This unit fits nicely (looks like it could have been made for the car) and worked fine with the stock Bose speakers, which has the amplifiers in each speaker enclosure.3. The sound quality was on par with the older Bose head unit — I guess the unit is limited by the speakers and the music didn’t sound worse, so that’s a win.4. Installation was fairly easy and the instructions for installed was average — pictures and descriptions, which were fine.5. USB connection options are nice!6. Love the little volume control knob as my old car doesn’t have steering wheel controls.7. Menu selection options are relatively fast.What I didn’t like:1. Settings menu is very limited, really focused on audio setting not the unit settings — no display configuration.2. Brightness in bright sun light washes out the display. It would be nice if the settings menu would allow for greater flexibility for the display control. All it offers is daylight, night time and off via a tiny icon on the main screen.3. No AM. There is only FM. (not a killer but it’s nice to catch AM football when driving cross country)4. The volume is preset to a level where it’s loud each time you turn the car on (and hence the unit). It doesn’t remember the last volume setting.5. Instructions on radio settings is very lacking and the auto frequency selection (where it homes to the strongest frequency for a selected channel) usually just sends the unit into a channel search across the entire FM band.I wish they did offered a firmware update to provide more display settings but for the price, I guess you can’t beat it and it’s solution that works well for me.

Great price and great product
I put this radio in 95 Jeep YJ and it fit perfect. I replaced my old radio with this. The car play works wireless and with a plug on it. Sound quality is way better especially since I only have 6.5inch speakers in my jeep. You can equalize it how you want and for the price it was worth it. It wonât work with a subwoofer unless you have a better setup than mine. Tried doing it without an amp. But great product and quality.

Unsafe wire gauge poor quality
Review:I bought this unit based on all the glowing reviews about how âeasyâ it is to install, how âperfectlyâ it fits the C180 W202, and how âseamlesslyâ it connects via Bluetooth. Unfortunately, my experience tells a completely different story.First, the fit is anything but perfect. I had to modify my dash trim just to get this to sit flush, and even then it feels loose and cheap. The so-called âplug and playâ install took over two hours because the connectors donât properly match factory specs.Bluetooth workedâfor about five minutes. After that, the connection became unstable, especially with my Pixel. Audio lags, cuts out intermittently, and forget trying to take a call without sounding like youâre underwater.As for the display, it looks decent at first glance, but donât expect durability. Mine developed flickering issues within a week, and visibility in sunlight is practically nonexistent. The interface also feels clunky and unresponsive, definitely not up to modern standards.Sound quality? If youâre coming from even a basic OEM radio, this will be a downgrade. Tinny highs, no real bass, and distortion above moderate volume. I swapped it out within days.I honestly donât understand the high ratings unless people are reviewing this straight out of the box without using it long enough to notice the flaws. Either that, or something sketchy is going on with the review system here. Save your moneyâthis product overpromises and seriously underdelivers.

Exactly what you want at the price point
Love the reviews giving this less than 5 stars. This was $65 with a coupon and for $65 it’s unbelievable. Splicing it in was easy enough, everything’s color coded as it should be. Bluetooth linked up quickly, sound is decent. Don’t need the backup cam so didn’t bother to wire that. Again, for $65, this is unbeatable. If you want to hem and haw about well could be a little better in the sun, lags just a little bit, sound quality could be a little better (all of which are true), etc, then spend decent money and buy a higher end product. It’s like buying a Geo Metro and then complaining you got beat off a red light by a Benz or something, insanity. If you’re looking for the functionality at a dirt cheap price, then this is super legit.
