Works fine.
This works great and is half the price of hydraulic types. Also lighter and easier to store.

Works well but the square socket on the crank broke due to weak pin, requiring an annoying fix.
Serves its purpose well. A little ‘stiff’ with the first few turns of the crank but rises pretty easily once past that point.One item noted was that the pin holding the socket to the crankshaft broke after the first lift. Remarkably easy to replace either with a similar (but stronger) pin or use an M3 x 30 bolt and nut for a more permanent fix.

Low maintenance.
This is just what I needed for my XT1 Cub Cadet. Easy to use and no hydraulics makes it simple to maintain and it should outlive me. Stores easily under a shelf in my garage.

Failed during first use
Broke on first use. Lifted front of my mower and did the work underneath. Went to let it back down and it was binding up. Snapped the 3/8in handle adapter. Can not get the mower down without getting a bottle jack now and jury rigging it. Made sure the lift screw was lubed. This is a rear engine mower and I was only lifting the front which is not that heavy.What a waste of time and money

Very handy lift for my ZT mower. Fits tightly along wall taking up little space in garage when not in use.

Useful
Easy to use. Get something to chock the rear wheels. I like to clean the deck, sharpen/replace the blade, and lubricate on a regular basis, and this makes it easy.

Basic design on a simple platform
Unboxing went well. Inventory was easy and assembly is just putting the wheel cradles in.I only tested it inside since the weather is prohibitive right now. My crank handle wouldn’t go into the unit so i had to do some minor filing to the rough leading edges of the four sides. There was some obviously curled metal, presumably from rounding the edges at the factory. easy enough.Inventory included 2 extra shear pins. Not sure if this is new, but i have noticed several people’s feedback stating theirs broke and they were upset….they are designed to break under excessive load. I’m glad for them since i talked myself into the lower model. This is against my nature but i have some hope this will suffice for my lawn tractors.Feedback has been hard to update lately, but i’ll try to provide an update once a load is on it. Right now, it goes up and down and seems like a simple design, very much in line with the KISS principle. Seems like it should work very well.

I mounted this unit on a piece of ply to give it more spread on the ground. AND I sheared off the pin in the 3/8th drive where you plug in you drill. They do supply a couple of extra pins. I sheared off 2 pins until I realized not to use the impact driver and only use the drill! Other than that it seems fine.
