ROBERTS Laminate and Floating Wood Flooring Installation Kit is designed for the do-it-yourself installer. It comes complete with a tapping block, pull bar and 50 wedge spacers. The wedge spacers can be stacked to provide the correct expansion gap at the perimeter of the room, while the tapping block and pull bar help make the installation a tight fit. This installation kit conveniently includes instructions on how to install laminate and floating wood flooring. For larger installations, multiple rooms or for the professional installer, you may want to upgrade to the Professional Pull Bar (model 10-18-8) and Professional Tapping Block (model 10-17-8), also available at Amazon.

Good Starter Kit
I began my 3300 sq ft flooring job with this kit. It was doing the job until about a third into the job. The pull bar began to deform and I had to order a stouter one. However, I kept the old pull bar for use as a pry bar. The plastic block also sustained damage. I used a plane to get it back to square.

Used and broken product
I wasn’t ready to install my flooring when I received this item but really should have checked the box. I found a heavy duty metal pull bar that had obviously been heavily used. There were no spacers. The taping block was broken in half. So evidently this item was returned and the person that accepted it back AND released isn’t paid enough to care. The state of this product was a slap in the face.
