Troubleshooting
If the head unit powers on for few seconds and then shuts down automatically:
Some cars have ACC wires controlled by Canbus or feature a “delayed shut off” for radios and other components. In such cases, the car may not output stable 12V power to our radio. You will need to purchase the appropriate harness adapter that provides accessory power or supports “Retained Accessory Power” for your specific car model. Alternatively, if you prefer not to buy the adapter, you can find ACC power elsewhere in your vehicle and connect our red wire there.
The necessary conditions for powering on the unit are:
1. The Red wire of our harness receives switched 12V power (Car key must be turned on).
2. The Yellow wire of our harness receives 12V power.
3. The Black ground wire of our harness is properly connected.
If you have an electric pen, you can test these three wires.
The car stereo has a memory function. If the ACC line (Red wire) and the B+ line (Yellow wire) are reversed during installation, the product will lose its memory function after the power is turned off.The car stereo cannot be used in vehicles with a voltage exceeding 14 V, such as large trucks. If you intend to use devices with a voltage higher than 14 V, you must use step-down conversion wires to avoid damaging the car stereo.

Iâve been using this stereo for about a year now, and I couldnât be happier with my purchase. From day one, installation was simple and very beginner-friendly. The stereo itself is packed with great features â Bluetooth connectivity works flawlessly, the sound quality is excellent, and it even comes with a backup camera that has surprisingly high-quality video. Honestly, this unit rivals the expensive name-brand stereos out there, but at a fraction of the cost. For the price, itâs an absolute no-brainer.What truly sets this company apart, though, is their customer service. When I first purchased the stereo, I reached out with some setup questions. They replied immediately and walked me through everything. Fast forward a year later: after almost daily use, my stereo developed a random malfunction. Even though the 1-year warranty had already expired, their support team didnât brush me off or give me the runaround. Instead, they responded right away, worked with me to troubleshoot, and when the issue couldnât be fixed, they offered to send me a replacement unit at no cost.That kind of service is almost unheard of these days, and it shows how much they stand behind their products and value their customers. Great value for a radio with wireless CarPlay.
I installed this radio in my c4 Corvette with Pioneer speakers and was impressed with how well it works. Installation went well and the instructions are clear on the wiring setup. If you have ever installed a car radio, you should have no problem with the install. The radio itself is compact and so may need some spacers when installing in older vehicles.CarPlay setup is easy and works very well. Iâm using iOS 26 and have had no problems with any apps or functionality. My iPhone has connected every time with no problems and will stay connected even at some distance from the vehicle. I have been able to stay connected going from my car to my garage a distance of 15-20 feet for example. The image quality is excellent and the touchscreen works very well. The included backup camera works very well even in low light situations.In my opinion the sound quality is excellent. I realize that speaker, speaker placement and the layout of your particular car can have a big effect on sound but I was quite surprised at how well the radio sounded. I have access to a current year Lexus and I think the sound rivals that of a system costing many times what I paid.Overall Iâm very impressed with this radio.

Actually pretty good, especially for the price
My expensive, name brand, stereo decided to become possessed and start doing weird stuff, so I needed to replace it. I didn’t have high expectations of this replacement, but I’m pleasantly surprised so far.It was an easy install, as I already had a wiring harness and bracket for the old 7″ HU, and previously installed rear camera and wiring.The screen is considerably better than the Pioneer it replaced, and the sound is fantastic. I really like the physical volume knobs and all of the function buttons being on the left side of the unit. I really like wireless Android Auto connection, but it has some issues as detailed below.What I don’t like, and why it doesn’t get 5 stars: you can’t listen to the radio and have android auto running. The old unit, you could. So, you don’t get navigation prompts or a map if you want to listen to the radio. That was solved by an I Heart Radio app, and thankfully I have unlimited data on my phone plan. But I can see it would be an issue for some, and should be something a software update could fix.I also have the occasional android auto connection issue. Sometimes it automatically connects when I start the car, sometimes it doesn’t, and sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to connect. It also uses wifi to connect, not just Bluetooth. This is annoying, and sometimes I have to shut the car off, wait for the unitbto power down, and restart the car to get the unit and phone to connect. When it works, though, I really like it.I also HATE the built in mic on the unit. It’s tiny, and far away. People say they can hear me, but I sound like I’m in a tunnel. There’s seemingly no place to install an external mic (at least no where that I could install my pre-existing external mic). It’s functional, but problematic. For the price pf the unit, however, it’s not necessarily a deal breaker.Overall, good unit for the price. Now let’s see how long it lasts.
