Huge Upgrade from Roomba â Eufy Gets It Right
After years of frustration with my old Roomba, I was skeptical about trying another robot vacuumâbut the Eufy has completely changed my mind. From day one, this cleaner has been a game-changer. Itâs not just more reliable than my Roomba ever was, but it actually exceeds expectations in both vacuuming and mopping. The suction power is impressive, and it navigates our home smartly without getting stuck or lost. It transitions smoothly between carpets and hard floors, and the mopping feature is a great bonusâour floors feel cleaner than ever. The self-emptying base is another standout feature. It means I donât have to constantly babysit the vacuum, and it really cuts down on daily maintenance.Set-up was simple, the app is intuitive, and I love being able to schedule cleanings and monitor progress from my phone. My only negative is that I wish I was able to connect this to my HomeKit app via matter or native HomeKit for more automations.Â

Beyond expectations!
I’m a tech research fanatic. Before I spend more than 10 dollars, I research the company, the product and if unsatisfied upon finally receiving the product, I send it back with honest feedback. We have a lower-priced robot vacuum that we have been using for a couple of years. We were more than happy with that one. It bounced around the house randomly vacuuming and kept our house pretty dog hair-free! Then we’d change the tank and we’d have it mop every couple of weeks or so and it did a fairly good job at that too. Never had a complaint. My mother wanted to give us a gift this past Christmas that made our life easier. One of us has cancer and it had become increasingly difficult to keep up with house chores with all the travel, the chemo appointments that were 3 states away and balancing a career on top of food shopping, doctors appointments and the list unfortunately goes on. I knew what I wanted because I was so impressed with the less-featured robot vac that we currently had and how it gave me back some time for other things. It still required managing while it was running, but so inspired me to research more featured units. My extensive research compared the Eufy Omni X10 with other much more expensive models. The review videos I saw online and magazine reviews I read occasionally had this model as a contender. Sweeping and mopping a 3000-square-foot home takes a lot of time. With that challenge also comes the age of the house. The transitions between older rooms and renovated rooms were a major obstacle for our current robot vac and mop, as well as having various-sized carpets on a parquet wood floor. It got stuck everywhere. The house constantly needed vacuuming and some of it needs vacuuming and mopping fairly frequently. Daunting for a machine to handle? Not this one…I am continually amazed by the precise cleaning this little robot does.Upon initial setup, it took itself on a tour of our entire house (unaided by me) and mapped the house perfectly. I then went in and named the rooms and chose an easily customizable routine to do a food cleanup in our kitchen every night after dinner; it wakes up at 9 PM, heads to the kitchen and vacs and mops the whole floor, even has a setting to mop the edge which, takes a little longer, but impresses me. I now just sweep all the counter crumbs and bits and pieces of small food prep right onto the floor and walk away. I also have an every other day program that vaccuums some rooms, and both vac and mops other rooms. Bathrooms, I have it clean twice every other day. The unit knows when I’ve moved furniture and is able to go back and forth during it’s cleaning cycle to empty the dust bag. clean it’s mop heads, dry them off, get a little charge and head back to where it left off.I also have 2 Jack Russells who shed a lot and get their dirty little paws on everything. The bot takes care of their little (filthy muddy) paw marks and the hair too. I never see it.The only thing you need to do is take care of filling it with fresh water (and cleaning solution that you can buy separately from Eufy) and empty the dust bag and dirty water tank when it tells you. When the bot empties itself, it’s about as loud as a normal vac so, I have it clean in the daytime so it doesn’t interrupt sleeping. I also diligently clean the dirty mop tank and the tray the bot sits on in the home base. It’s the least I can do for something that has given me back hours each week to enjoy with my spouse.I don’t give 5 stars easily to any product. But I can’t recommend anything more strongly than this very smart little vac/mop bot. As always, order replacement items when you buy it, get an extended warranty and take care of it to ensure a long lifespan. This is a great product. Now, if we only had a drone duster bot that could also do windows. I’m sure it’s coming and when it comes to housework, I’ll get that as well.

It works well, cleans fast and it’s quiet.
This vacuum mop robot is amazing, mapped the house in minutes and started right away. Detected carpeted areas and raises its mops up to avoid it. Doesn’t get stuck on edges like my old vacuum. I like the look and it’s not so loud as my old one. It does a good job of avoiding hitting furniture and even turns on an led light for better night vision. Let’s hope it lasts as long as my old one did.

A piece of garbage….
I wanted so bad to like not even love this stupid thing. Its literally a waste of money amd a hunk of junk to me now. After several months of use, I wish I could just return it and never look at it. Here’s why:1. Its supposed to have obstacle avoidance software. It absolutely sucks at it. Cat toys, dog toys, my actual animals tails and fur, poop (sick puppers had an accident we were aware of), floor mats. The darn thing gets stuck on EVERYTHING!! For the price I’d think this would be better.2. The app is AWFUL and not super user friendly. Its not easy to change the map to avoid certain rooms. And half the time its buggy and clitchy.3. Its a nightmare to clean. Our puppy had a bad reaction to their vaccinations and had an accident we didn’t know about. It was on the side of our bed and couldn’t see it. Eufy ran right through it and smeared it into the carpets and Sweet drug crap all over our house. Kind of it. Well cleaning it after was a nightmare. Half the parts are tucked into to wells and have little crevices that are hell to clean if at all.4. I have to stop and clean the roller every single use, the vacuum bags don’t last more than two weeks and I have to either change the bag or empty the current one. They aren’t cheap to replace either. Eufy things their stuff is gold apparently.5. The customer service is even more awful than the stupid device itself. They were backorder status on their cleaning solution, for two or more months when we bought the device. They 9f course don’t even bother to include a sample bottle in the box after spending $600. Ok cool, cool. Contact their dreaded customer service to ask what other cleaner we can use, they said nothing only theirs unless I want to void my warranty. Their suggestion, just use water to clean your floors. Seriously, you cant keep your cleaning solution in stock but can’t give a sample nor offer secondary options. Should have returned this hunk of junk then.6. The mopping makes the house smell like sewage. I’m not sure why. But it smells like the dirty water you dump out of the empty tank. It is rank. So that defeats the purpose of mopping the floors.7. It doesnt mop worth a crap, it will .ake a wet strip in the floor, but then it’ll turn to mop the next section and there’s barely any wetness on the floor.8. Its not very good at vacuuming either. I swept out a corner where our puppies play pen is. And it didn’t vacuum up more than half of it. I’ve tried turning all the settings up to max but all that does is kill the batter faster and make the whole process like 5 hrs long.9. Its very loud. O work from home, so I cant run it if I’m going to need to be on a meeting bc it so loud the people on the other end can hear it. Cant run it work bc then it’ll run while were sleeping and our luck it’d get trapped on something like it always does. All in all, just dont buy it. Don’t believe all the stupid influences they obviously pay way too much money to, to hock this piece of scrap plastic garbage. Also, my mother also got one and she also hates hers. It fell down her stairs and its supposed to detect that as well.

I can’t fault the mopping function, it’s great, but the device infrequently gets stuck when transitioning to carpet. The carpets I’m referring to are not high or thick.

Usage: large spaces, limited furniture, but varying surfaces (commercial carpet, high doormats, uneven wooden floor), plenty of foot traffic. We compared to a Shark robo vac (without mopping) and the eufy X10 Pro Omni beats the former in all of the categories below by a huge margin.Pros: easy to set up; mapping without issues, map editing intuitive, great app (quick to open, intuitive to use, plenty of videos are linked to the error messages and settings); powerful suction and mopping functionality; settings for spcaces are saved for the next time; operating pretty reliably over/around obstacles; doesn’t fall down stairs and respects no-go zones; easy maintenance (again the in-context support videos are quickly accessible, so google-ing the instructions on the wild internet), super-responsive support by phone, chat, and email (I cannot stress this feature enough – they even sent us a a evaluation package of their proprietory cleaning solution when we asked whether it was right for our hardwood floors – which it prooved to be [shiny surface, just as nice as Murphy’s, no lemon scent tough]).Cons: Can’t think of any. I think this is as good as it gets in terms of AI powered vacs/mops. I find it does need supervision, though. For spaces with furniture, I think it requires prep if you are after a thorough (close to the edges) clean. You have to move the furniture away from the wall, temporarily move power cables out of the way, etc. and then put it all back together again. And I would like earlier warnings about a compromised brushroll (entangled) or dustbin. The little guy was acting oddly, but I couldn’t figure out what was going on. So, there is some room for improvement. But now I know to just put ‘vac maintenance’ on my duty rotation sheet.Notes: It’s not as fast as I would like (especially when vaccuming & mopping in one go, looking at the history it took 1 hour to clean 77 sm2 (829 sf, no carpets, just hardwood floor). As it can’t do much more than that on a single full charge, I have taken to subdivide our large spaces so that the ‘Auto-return Cleaning function’ doesn’t kick in at inopportune times. There are scheduling functions available that might improve my usage, but I am not there yet. Out of the box it’s a bit chatty, which is not helpful as very hard to understand (by the time one has tuned into the voice and accent – the message is already over with and cannot(?) be repeated). And one last little thingi …. it goes quite close to the wall, which is great, but to do that it keeps bumping into the wall (and doors) which can be a little noisy. All in all: One of the few purchases that really made a difference and are a breeze to use. Highly recommended. Eufy rocks!

Unbelievable!! I wouldnât have believed it if I hadnât seen it for myself!! Iâve had it for over a month, it runs every day & covers 2000 sq feet in 2 1/2 hours, vacuums, washes & dries in the same pass, goes back to base station & dumps waste water, picks up fresh water, cleans & dries itâs mop heads!! Mapped the house accurately & modified the pattern when things moved. It doesnât like dog food, cords & shoe laces & will often need a little help with these problems. Easy to maintain & will tell you the problem, what to do & where it is located in the house. Crazy!! Bought it after searching reviews & watching âjust a dadâ on YouTube. Love it, will likely buy another for the basement.ð©·

I’ve been using this robovac for a while now, and overall, I’m impressed. It combines vacuuming and mopping, and once it’s set up, it’s very easy to use.â Pros:- User-Friendly: Easy to operate once it’s configured.- Smart Navigation: Rarely gets stuck, even in rooms with furniture or tight spaces.- Handles Complex Layouts: Works well in homes with complicated floor plans.- Live Updates: The app shows real-time progress and alerts during cleaning.- Accurate Mapping: Auto-generates floor maps you can edit later.- Pet Friendly: No issues with my catsâquiet and non-disruptive.â Cons:- Bulky Design: Itâs on the larger side and doesnât fit under all furniture.- Requires Bags: Uses disposable vacuum bags, which youâll need to buy regularly.- No Spare Parts: Wouldâve been great to include extra mop pads or filters.- Not for Tough Stains: The mop is good for light cleaning but canât handle dried or sticky messes.- App Dependency: Setup and initial use require the app (though it runs fine without it afterward). The app can be confusing some time.- Stair Confusion: It often mistakes staircases for rooms and will keep trying to “clean” them.

Iâd give the Eufy X10 Pro Omni 5 stars. There are lots of pros for us and the cons are minor in my view. It has significantly simplified our busy lives.Pros:Base station features: The self-emptying, self-cleaning, and self-drying features are incredibly convenient, keeping maintenance minimal and preventing mop pads from developing odors.Obstacle Avoidance: navigates around furniture, cords, and unexpected obstacles for uninterrupted cleaning.Mop Lift Feature: I like that it automatically raises the mop when transitioning to carpets, and we never had issues with different types of carpets in the house.Multi-Floor Mapping: It maps 5 levels which was an absolutely needed feature for us.Quick and Accurate Mapping: The mapping process is fast and precise.Powerful Vacuum Suction: I am happy with how it handles dirt and debris very well, both on carpet and hard floors.Mop Edge-Hugging Capability: Effectively cleans along edges and corners.LED Cleaning Light: A nice feature that improves visibility under furniture and when scheduled to clean at night.Cons:App Refinement Needed: While functional, the app could benefit from improved user-friendliness. Sometimes the cleaning history shows the vacuum jumped over furniture when in reality in cleaned around them with no problem.Base Station Dependency: The reliance on the base station for washing the mops can be limiting for use on the floors with no base station. I would be great if we could buy a separate base station for the bedroom level to have full mopping capabilities.Dimensions: It effectively navigates and cleans under most of our furniture, but a slimmer design would allow it to reach even lower spaces.
