Each cup is cut from single piece of bamboo wood. There is no glue, no adhesive used. Therefore each cup is slightly different, reflecting the shape and specifics of the chunk of wood it is made from. Also bottom of the cup is naturally warped in, a bit differently for each cup just as the Mother Nature has designed it.

Our tips on how to care for Bamboo Cups to let them serve you well and for a long time:
Allow the air flow.
In case you use it for toothbrushes, we recommend to use each cup to store max 4-5 of them (or 3 toothbrushes and toothpaste) to allow enough room for air circulation. More items you put in, more time it will take for all items to dry.
Water resistant. But not build to stand in the water all the time.
The cup has natural water resistance resulting from bamboo wood itself, further increased by additional thermal treatment. However, keeping the cup standing in the water all the time might lead to formation of limescale at the bottom of it.
Easy procedure to keep it always sanitary.
Residues of toothpaste in water dripping from toothbrushes can lead to the formation of a white coating on the bottom of the cup. To avoid this, and to keep the cup sanitary, we recommend to rinse it in the hot water every once and then.
Cork base included with each package.
Based on the feedback from our customers we are now adding complimentary cork base to every package with Cottify toothbrush holder. It further improves the air flow, drainage efficiency and protects the cup from standing in the water.
BE AWARE! Each cup is designed by nature. Thus each one is different in shape, color and with bottom part being naturally convex in a unique way for each item.
The bottom of each cup is always warped inside and its shape is given by the individual raw bamboo it is made from. Bottom of the cup is never flat. Together with drainage holes its shape further improves the ventilation to keep the content dry. Each cup is made from a single piece of bamboo wood and therefore each cup is slightly different, designed by mother nature herself. Therefore some minor differences in color, perimeter width and shape are normal. Cups are certainly not uniform. However we are trying to keep this differences low by selecting only raw bamboo wood of very specific width and color.

Practical, attractive AND itâs Earth friendly. Appreciated the complimentary stand that can be used with the holder, under a cup or however you choose. I have mine under the holder to catch any last pesty drips. The cup will hold both toothbrush and toothpaste tube unless the tube is gigantic. Have not had in use long so cannot speak for longevity. In the meantime, pleased with the natural look and unintrusive size.

It’s pretty, well made and I’m pleased
I wanted to add a little of the warmth of wood to my bathroom and decided to go with bamboo as I find it attractive and it is ecologically sound. I liked the looks of this cup to use to hold makeup brushes, etc. Altho I was worried it might be a little darker than I wanted and not go with my other bamboo accessories, I took a chance. Happily, it is the same shade of warm blond and seems very well made. It won’t hold a lot because the walls of the cup are relatively thick, but I like the leaf design, and it is doing just what I wanted it to do. BTW, it also comes with 4 notched cork strips that allow you to make a sort of trivet to aid in encouraging air circulation if you are using it for toothbrushes or other damp things. The bottom also has a bunch of small holes for the same purpose. So it is thoughtfully made as well as pretty.

I ordered 3 sets. One of the cups was larger than the other two and the stand that it sits on, is not what’s on the add. It’s Square and the cups don’t sit very well on it. I threw them all away. They were useless. I love the cup though.
