Easy to use, sturdy, strong
It’s nice when the product does exactly what you need. I purchased these to use over the top of an old swing set to form a MacGyver-type plant house. Added a shade cloth to protect plants from the Florida summer sun.I’m no spring chicken and had no problem setting this up by myself. Another set of hands would have made it go faster but it’s doable alone. The metal connector tubes fit the flexible rods well; the spring clips grip and hold the shade cloth in place snugly. I really appreciated the brown ribbon that was included as it was something I didn’t know I’d need to tie down the ends.I didn’t use all the rods for my project but I’m thinking of getting another set and turning my shade umbrella into a tunnel I can walk into.

A great purchase
I purchased themes to use for my beans and my tomato plants in my raised flower bed and they worked great. I also use them in the area where I had my cucumbers and they weren’t good with allowing the cucumbers to hang over them instead of touching the ground they were very sturdy the height is great and it held up with the weather. I would recommend purchasing me and I may get another set for next year.

Great for Filtering the Sunâs Heat
Easy to assemble and fit into my raised garden bed. Protected tomatoes, basil and peppers from the harsh sun and heat here in SC coast. I installed the netting on the South side of the raised bed to filter the sunlight.

They’re okay
If you want something for a small bed, maybe 2 feet wide, these would work. For anything wider than that, these will fall over and be a pain. They also come apart pretty easily if you move them at all so if you need to move them frequently, I wouldn’t recommend them. They won’t stand up in the wind so if it’s windy, it’s not the best bet. For small beds though, I think they are good enough and worth the money.

Work well & easy to store, when not in use
My beds are 4 feet wide x12 feet long. These hoops fit perfectly, but can bend to any size needed. I used 5 black sticks and 4 silver connectors for one âhoopâ for my 4 feet wide raised beds. I needed 5 âhoopsâ total so 25 black sticks and 20 silver connectors. These are good for keeping birds and critters out of my raised beds. I used landscape staples to attach the netting firmly on the exterior of the bed. That allows me to pull it up to get out the weeds but I can still water without having to remove the netting. I like how they will pull apart and store in a small area. Great product- thanks!

Why you donât take the easy roadâ¦
This is a flimsy / dangerous approach to creating a protective tunnel for the garden. If the dirt is at all loose they come flying out by one end and send fiberglass poles and metal flying. MAKE SURE YOU DINT HAVE KIDS OR GLASS WINDOWS NEAR BY. CONSIDERING Â a return but I may rig them to create a more rectangular tunnel so thereâs no tension on the rods. I would only suggest the tunnel formation if you have time to pre weight the bottom ends of each arch w cement or something.Â
