I was skeptical when my husband ordered them. Nothing on those info commercials hardly work as advertised most of the time. These worked out alot better than I thought. They are very bright, easy to install. I wish the stakes were longer, but we adapted and are very pleased. These need to be exposed to sunlight for more than one full day for the full brightness in the beginning. We will be ordering again.

I am really pleased with this bright solar motion sensor! The photos are taken just after sundown in winter with holiday lights still up and on. Walk past this from the public sidewalk and it will light up. Walk past it on your walkway to and from the front door – it will light up. It stays on for a good period of time. The installation required drilling two holes into the metal flashing on the trim. You can point it to where you want the lights to light up. I have them pointed to the veranda, the driveway, and the next door neighbor’s driveway. It’s really bright. You won’t be disappointed. It comes with a Guarantee too! 5 Stars +

I purchased this for a dark walkway between mine and my neighbour’s house to deter any unwanted trespassers. Unfortunately, after purchasing the light, there is a brochure in the package (see photo) that states “best results” are achieved when someone walks by the light (right-to-left or left-to-right). If the person or animal walks toward the light, the motion sensor takes longer to detect this movement. As a result, I had to walk right up to my backyard gate, and stand two feet in front of the motion sensor before it sensed me and lit up. I re-watched the promotional video on the Amazon advertisement, and took a screen capture of the wood-be burglar in their video, and you can see how close you have to get before the light turns-on…(see second photo)It is a bright light, the solar power plate works effectively and was extremely easy to install.Therefore, If the area you are trying to light up is such that someone/thing must move past the light from right to left/left to right, great. If not, it is not as effective.
