love reolink.. very impressive for this camera
I bought this for a friend who is a hunting lover in PA, The LTE cameras are pricier than wifi, but as long as you have cell coverage, it’s completely worth it.It was easy to setup and has lots of useful features like dual lens, tracking, motion recording, and time lapse recording.I also work with the EIOTClub prepaid data sim card together, as you dont need to activate it. just insert it, It’s actually a very easy process.

Nice camera if you could get directions or support
I spent 24 hours at home trying set this camera up before taking it to remote property. First of all you get a quick start guide that shows how to attach the camera to a wall, tree etc… , how to charge it and how to install the data card. That’s it. Chatting with Reolink support is a joke. It is all AI and won’t help. I finally got a hold of a person on the phone after holding for an hour. They helped me with settings to get auto tracking to work. I figured out how to create a app password for email notifications by myself. Then the auto-tracking quit working so I had to do a reset. This eliminated all of the settings including the app password. I deleted and created five new app passwords for Reolink. I tested each one and was never able to get the email notifications to work again. In the meantime the auto-tracking quit again as well. I will not have this camera located 4 hours away on our mountain property and have to deal with issues like this. Getting customer support is like pulling teeth AND……there is no operational manual. I was told they haven’t made one yet. So if you are remote and have issues you will have to find help online or struggle with it yourself. I’m done. THE REOLINK TRACKMIX LTE-C, THE EIOT DATA CARD AND THE REOLINK MICROSD CARD ARE ALL GOING BACK TO AMAZON!

Awesome
I bought this camera as a standalone unit that does not need Wi-Fi. I took a T-Mobile SIM card straight out of an extra phone that I had and stuck it into the camera and it worked flawlessly. Every now and again my service is slow so it will show on the camera but all in all that’s not the camera’s fault it’s T-Mobile’s. You get a great camera for the money and it has a lot of features on the app. I love how you get two different views one regular and then one a little bit more zoomed in. The zoom on the app works as well when you just pinch to zoom you can zoom in as far as you want to really. I’ve not had it not work for me at all it has been nothing but great so far. The battery lasts 100% of the time if you use the solar charger it never runs out no matter really how much you watch or stream to your phone or use the camera. It works great. There are a bunch of settings you can change as far as when you want your notifications and how you want them to come and where you want them to come it is really a good camera I couldn’t ask for a better solution for surveillance

Awesome LTE PTZ camera
I bought this for a friend and installed it for them. LTE cameras are pricey but as long as you have cell coverage it’s completely worth it.The micro SD card slot is on the back of the camera ‘ball’ and the sim card slot and the on/off switch is on the side. Boths cards are under a cover that you need a small phillps head screwdriver for.I bought the EIOTClub 360 day 24gb prepaid data sim card. You do have to download the app to activate it. It’s actually a very easy process. You have to remember this is an LTE camera, so the PTZ function and playback can be a little slow responding depending on cell coverage. The camera itself is amazing, very durable metal casing, the night vision compared to standard IR is unbelievable and again makes the price difference worth it. This camera is essentially undetectable if you mount it in the right spot and no glow IR really helps it blend in.Mount it somewhere up high about 15′ so it’s not easily seen and it also helps catch a better cell signal. I mounted the solar panel about 5′ above it facing south east and it charged the camera from 30% to 100% in about 6 hours of good sunlight. If you want a PTZ camera that is completely wireless and essentially undetectable this is the one for you

Terrible support and terrible subscription requirements
Camera worked great until the free trials ended in about 30 seconds after set-up then tried to subscribe to a plan and had to set up a pay pall so I did that then came back and tried to use my pay pall and still could not pay for a subscription so I got to use it for all of 30 seconds and can no longer use any features do to not being able to pay for the subscription through there very poor and Un user friendly payment method

Great for off-grid security
I went with a provider that I could get cell service and bought a SIM card for just $10. Easy to set up, can talk and interact. I get notifications, and I can check in anytime for real time viewing. Solar has been difficult in the trees, but the cord is long so I will figure it out. Highly recommended for a set price and security. I wouldnât go back to the other brands Iâve used in the past. Love this camera!

Very happy with this camera. I mounted it in my backyard with the solar panel vertical, to simulate how it would be mounted out in the rural area I plan to install it. I need the panel to not get covered in snow.It has been rock solid for a month, and the battery is currently at 95% through a month of Canadian winter.Support has been fantastic. Needed a bit of help configuring the AP file for my SIM card and FTP setup. I have it sending clips to my Synology NAS for local storage and am using a Fizz mobile SIM card in Canada. The only thing that would be better is if it had a wifi option as well. I’d happily pay an extra $50 for wifi connectivity alongside the LTE. I only need the LTE coverage during the winter when the wifi at my cabin is off. Spring/Summer/Fall I could connect to wifi and not spend the money on the LTE service. But that’s a minor gripe. This is the only LTE camera to my knowledge that you don’t need a subscription for and can use pretty much any SIM card you want. Solar works as advertised, it tracks movement well. The 2nd lens doesn’t seem terribly useful, but perhaps once it’s mounted in a more distance oriented setting the two lenses will be beneficial.

UPDATE Review 3 APP CLOUD STORAGE HORRIBLE, NOT USER FRIENDLY! LACKING IN FEATURES. Video quality ok but so difficult to understand settings on both cloud and device. Integrate with cloud edge and it might be better. You also can’t control your storage on the SD card. This company needs to look at how other cameras work and learn. My cloud storage stopped working. All in all, very unhappy.Review 1 Frustrating I can not set up the sim and support is not helpful. I’ve had this thing for a month and still unable to use it!Review 2 Got a new SIM from a different provider. The unit worked, yay. But then I put it out where I wanted it, plugged the solar panel in and all looked good. So I bought a year’s subscription to their cloud (not the best application by far) one day later it’s disconnected. No power! Solar panel is not charging. I’m so sick of the thing, I’m ready to send it back. They need to work on everything from sim provider services to the cameras functions. Not impressed at all.

The Reolink 4K trail camera is easy to use and offers great image quality with convenient features. It arrived in a sturdy, well-organized package with everything I needed to get started. The camera itself is solidly built, and the included solar panel makes it easy to keep the battery charged. Installation was quick and painless. The camera was mounted securely on a tree without any issues.Since the camera runs on a 4G LTE cellular network, thereâs no need for Wi-Fi, making it perfect for remote locations. The camera supports multiple SIM cards, allowing you to choose your preferred carrier, and provides flexible storage options, including an SD card or FTP server. The camera delivers excellent 4K video both day and night. The dual lens design provides both a wide-angle and close-up view, giving you a complete perspective of your surroundings. Even at night, the camera captures good images in both colour and black-and-white modes, ensuring that you donât miss important details. The motion tracking and auto-zoom functions work well, automatically focusing on moving animals or objects and providing clear, zoomed-in footage. I like the ability to control the camera remotely through the Reolink app, which makes it easy to access live footage and share content on the go. Overall, itâs a reliable and user-friendly trail camera with excellent performance. Full marks from me!
