I used to use wool balls in my dryer, but I recently switched these plastic balls. I expected them to make noise in the dryer, but I never noticed any sound.They are not aestheticly pleasing, but they DO work!!

Worked Good Until One Split
These worked good until one split. They lasted roughly a year. They made my towels and pants soft and wrinkle free without the white residue that dryer sheets or liquid softener can leave behind. My only complaint is that I feel they should last longer than a year. I am going to try some wool dryer balls and see if they last longer with the same results. We shall see!

These things are awesome. Such a small simple invention, but man!I started adding them to my dry cycles and they have made a HUGE difference! I bought two sets of two, so I use four for large loads and adjust according to load size. Instead of drying on high heat, I started drying large loads on medium to low heat and after about an hour, everything is perfectly dry! If I were to toss the clothes by themselves in, even on high heat after an hour sometimes items like comforters or towels and sheets would still be damp. I never have to worry about that anymore.As far as wrinkles go, I haven’t noticed a difference, but I’m also a bachelorette who will put clothes in the dryer and use it as an ancillary storage unit until I have to wash something else LOL. So a lot of times my clothes or towels will be in there until I need them. ðBut honestly! These things will make a difference in both time and money. Buy them. They are well worth it!

I bought 2, 2 packs of these. I had my doubts the moment I opened the packages. They are very soft and easy to flatten. I put them in the dryer with a single down jacket to fluff it up. All four of the dryer balls came out completely flat. They had only been in there for 20 mins. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! They are a soft silicone, like a stress ball. Useless as a dryer ball.
