An excellent assortment of small metric screws and great value – just wish it wasn’t so dirty!
This is a great value for the price! The range of sizes is excellent and the quantity count is much more generous than most other sets. The container itself is pretty sturdy as well and meant that everything arrived in it’s proper slots (unlike many others I have ordered!) However the major drawback is that the fasteners are fairy dirty and just fishing one screw out of any bin leaves a lot of black smudges over my fingers. If you’re working in a lot of machine shops, this may not be an issue but if you work around sensitive equipment (lots of AI vision surfaces around me) then this isn’t the kit for you unfortunately. Had to return it because of the dirt 🙁

Useful Assortment To Keep In The Tool Closet
This set is a good value for the money. If time is money to you, then itâs a double good value. That is why I bought it. I had no immediate use for screws but Iâm frequently going to the hardware store because I donât have the right size screw or have the screw but not a companion washer and nut. So now I have a nice assortment of common sizes of all these parts.The variety here is useful but be aware the plastic case they come in is vulnerable to even warm temperatures. When I received it the top was slight bowed out after sitting in the delivery van and some of the screws had migrated to bins of other sizes. Not a huge deal, but something to be aware of if these will be stored in a garage or outdoor shed. If you are going to keep these screws in this case I suggest storing them flat, not on a side. On a plus, I appreciate the locator guide on the interior of the box that clearly shows where each item is stored.My first impression of these screws is that they are no different from 304 Stainless Steel screws available at hardware stores. They seem fine for light to medium-duty indoor household repair. Being 304 they are corrosion resistant, but not corrosion proof so not the best for high humidity areas. Also, by their nature, they are not magnetic.

Great set designed to be and to remain well organized.
What I liked – Good assortment of screws, washers, and nuts including a good case that separates the various parts with clear labeling to what is in each compartment right down to quantity. The screws, washers, and nuts are professionally finished and quite secure when threaded together. No rough edges or discoloration issues.What I disliked – While I love the case, the opening latch system is a bit unforgiving and I made the mistake of angling the container when I first opened it, which led to the various contents being thrown across the various compartments. Spent over an hour re-sorting. So while I love the case, I do wish it had a simpler and better lock/unlock mechanisms. Don’t make my mistake – keep them level when opening the case.For my photos, Photos 1 and 2 show the item as it arrived. Notice in photo 2 the great organization of the items inside the storage case. Photo 3 shows a clearer view (without the plastic wrap) of the parts listing. Photo 4 shows the latch system on the container. Photo 5 shows what happens if you open it with the container on its side – and it took quite a while to get it back to Photo 2’s organization. Don’t make my mistake.

Good quality screws. Be aware: Numbers listed are +/-1.
These screws and nuts are the sizes listed and fit together smoothly. The number of components is the 358 listed in the box, but there was one extra each of a #8 nut and #10 washer, and one less each of a #8 washer and #10 nut. This only matters if you are in need of the exact number of items listed. I used a #10-24 1″ screw (which is why the picture shows 1 less of these) to attach a knob to a dresser. It was perfect for this purpose.As long as you don’t need the precise number of each of the washes and nuts, I can recommend these screws without hesitation.
