Great bed for Greyhounds!
I got this bed for my 60-lb greyhound in hopes that the orthopedic foam would encourage her to stop sleeping in my bed at night as she sleeps against me, causing my spine to be misaligned. She also has sleep startle, so it was time to create a strategy to get her out of my bed at night.I got the XL because I donât have the space in my room for the XXL, but it does the job for her size. Sheâs a petite, 5-year old girl, so shorter than average greyhound height (sheâs often mistaken for a whippet).She loves to lay her head on the bolsters when resting . Sheâll also run to the bed when she hears a loud, scary noise outside (we live in a city).Weâre still working on retraining her to sleep in her bed through the night. But I can tell sheâs been getting a good sleep whenever she does sleep in it (sheâs presently barking in her dreams as I type this review, ha!). When she gets in the bed I give her a treat to reinforce the behavior. And sheâs usually good at the start of the night, but at some point during the night she typically will still get in my bed. Hopefully over time sheâll begin to prefer her bed to mine.Overall itâs well-made and comfortable (I got in it with her to test out the foam and to convince her to stay in it for several hours. See photo with animal print clothing to see how roomy it is with both of us in it). The microfleece is nice. She likes to nest a bit before laying down and so far the cover has held up. And I like that it has a waterproof liner. The bedâs opening is pretty wide, which allows her to hang out of the bed in true greyhound fashion. Itâs much easier to put together than her old donut bed. This was highly recommended on numerous greyhound website articles, and I can see why! Definitely great joint support for retired racers. While it is quite an investment, I do recommend this bed! I hope to keep it for years to come, especially since cover replacements are available.P.S. I also recommend getting the PetFusion cooling blanket. It actually stays cool for the most part! She sleeps hot, and has slept through the night under the cooling blanket. Very impressive!

Stains Easily
This is one of the only beds that actually fits my 125 dog breed with Great Pyrenees and Blood Hound mix and isn’t extraordinarily expensive. But it does come with it’s con which is easy staining so if you’re dog is like mine and is always dirty would not recommend or figure something to cover it up.

Made to last. My dog and I love it.
Iâve had this bed for several years now. Me and my Labrador love it! Before I got this one I went through several cheap beds that didnât last too long. Either my dog chewed them or they got too disgusting. This bed is made to last. I can take the cover and throw it ti the washing machine and it comes out like new.Highly recommend this bed! It might be pricey but you will save money on the long run.

Expensive but worth it
My dogs love these. I have 1 senior dog and 1 adult dog and they both seem happy with it. Love the removable cover to wash it. I do wish I got a darker color because thereâs some stains that wonât come out. My lab goes digging for gold every night before bed and itâs held up to that very well with no punctures.

Excellent Ratings, Overall Satisfied – Where’s the Comfort?
Overall – satisfied with this purchase for the price, the look and the product features for ease of cleaning. But the foam insert is really flat. As with the popular mattresses in a box, I dutifully opened the memory foam carefully, allowed for 12 hours of air introduction to the foam…and it’s not filling out the base as the photos suggest it would. It’s been almost 24 hours now, and still no change. I thought – I mean, when something comes highly rated from not only user reviews, but reputable pet sites, it’s worth the hype, yeah? – that purchased product would fit the photo. Not complaining about the overall aesthetic and the process for providing trusted animal companions with some well-deserved comfort, but confused why the foam just isn’t “floofing” as it should. I have a 7 year old hound who has had some tough times, and had hoped this would be ideal for whatever years he has left for his bones and muscles to enjoy a good night’s sleep after a full day of protecting us all, playing and hunting anything that moves. He’s a loyal, active and respected member of our household, and I just feel like the foam support should be more than it currently is. Any suggestions on what else I can do to make the foam base what it looks like in the photos? Or do I need to go and purchase another foam solution? I want to trust that the purchased unwrap product looks exactly like the photo – but I’m kinda sad that providing my dog with comfort for the price point and result wasn’t what it claimed to be. Maybe y’all had better results. Would recommend, but not so sure I can.

The bed is perfect, my boy loves his. We travel a lot and the bed is always on the move and it has held up great and kept its comfort! Only issue I had was the waterproof liner is not very âwaterproofâ it is water resistant.. that being said I shouldnât have aloud the bed to get wet but stuff happens. Great purchase

Das Bett kann ich nicht empfehlen. Die Matratze hat bei mir keine Höhe von 10 cm. Es sind nur 8 cm und der Schaumstoff gibt doch sehr nach. Meine Hündin 24 kg, 15 Jahre alt, humpelt doch sehr, wenn sie länger auf dem Bett gelegen hat. Liegt meine Hündin länger auf einer höheren Matratze, humpelt sie kaum. Dafür ist das Bett viel zu teuer! Der Stoff unter dem Bett ist viel zu dünn. Staub und Feuchtigkeit können dem Schaumstoff schaden.

La cama por si sola es genial. El Memory Foam se mantiene firme aún después de que mi mascota haya estado dormida la mayor parte del dÃa. Tengo una Husky de dos años y tenÃa mis dudas sobre el diseño de la cama, ya que ella duerme en prácticamente cualquier posición imaginable. No obstante, se adaptó relativamente rápido y aprovecha la altura de los bordes para acomodarse. Como consejo, (tal vez especÃficamente para esta raza) y dado el precio ligeramente elevado de la cama, sugerirÃa que la adquirieran después del año y medio, ya que anteriormente mi mascota destruyo por completo una cama anterior (ciertamente de menor calidad). Adicionalmente, sugerirÃa tenerla en observación constante mientras se adapta a la cama, sobre todo si no ha tenido una anteriormente. Los componentes (tela, cierres, rellenos) son de excelente calidad según mis observaciones.

La cama es genial. Parto de la base que mi princesa vive en el sofá y no estaba muy segura que le fuera a gustar. Ya es mayor y buscaba una camita que la aislara del frio y que fuera cómoda para sus huesos y articulaciones. El colchón es grueso y mantiene su forma. Los respaldos son gorditos y también mantienen su forma. Lleva cremalleras diferentes para poder lavar tanto la funda del colchón como de los respaldos. Los acabados de costuras y cremalleras son de calidad. Sin duda es la mejor cama que he comprado hasta ahora. Además yo he comprado la manta de la misma marca para ponerla encima de su camita y ser mas facil la limpieza. A mi peludilla le ha encantado. Sigue echándose sus siestas en el sofá pero para dormir no se lo piensa, va directa a su pedazo de camita. Le compré un tamaño grande para que estuviera cómoda y pudiera ponerse en cualquier posición. Sin duda la volverÃa a comprar.

Es realmente impermeable y duradera.El colchon es bastante ancho y no se deforma.Como cualquier cama de perro se llena de pelos y se mancha, pero aspirando y lavando la funda con Vanish queda nuevamente limpia y suave.Tuvimos un cachorrito de visita y se orinó la cama, pero el colchon no se mancho ni una gota for la funda interna impermeable que tiene.
