“Self-drilling,” I said. “Pfft, yeah. That’s what they all say. I’m not gonna hold my breath.”Well, I *could* have held my breath, because they are, indeed, self-drilling, so that’s what I get for being unnecessarily skeptical.I’d been putting off putting up a buttload of pictures/decor because just the THOUGHT of messing with all the screw anchors – drilling the holes, tapping them in, watching them crumple and bend and deform, trying to get the screws to go in to straighten them out, pulling them out and leaving a gaping hole in the drywall – was exhausting, but after about an hour of working with these I was excited to keep going. easy to useitâs like a nail that doesnât bend and have to be thrown awaypick a spot and go with itthe flatness of the anchor makes it so it doesnât spin in the dry wall once screw is installedmultiple screws can be used, iâve used longer drywall screws that werenât intended for the anchors and they still worksometimes the longer screws go past the thread portion so they donât secure tight tight and the screw can spin but it still stays in wall no problem.

I wouldnât have guessed that thereâd be a such thing as the perfect mounting screws until these rescued me from the pitfalls of using the plastic kind. I learned a thing or two about efficiency after using these. First off, I didnât know at first that these were capable of mounting items that have holes that donât always align perfectly with wall studs. I assumed incorrectly that the plastic kind would be of the same caliber as these. I was proven wrong through trial and error and these arrowhead tappers gave me the support of a wall stud right in the drywall. I will be using these for every mounting project from here on out. Easy to use, great variety of sizes and excellent quality. Highly recommended!
