Does the job as stated!
We bought this so our dog could get out to the yard easily. We opted for this over replacing a glass patio door with an expensive custom door with a traditional doggie door. We installed this with ease – directions given were clear and easy to execute. Installed during mega-hot, rainy Florida July. Kept the A/C in and hot temps out beautifully. Magnetic closures worked great as our big dog let herself in and out. So nice not to jump up and let the dog in and out.We highly recommend with the only aside, as you can see in the photo, the bottom of the insulated door has a bit of a gap, which is needed to let the door freely swing open and close magnetically.

Great option instead of a door
I put this in a doorway that leads to my upstairs. Before, I would just hang a blanket but I can tell this keeps the heat downstairs and the stairway is much colder than it was before. The magnets are great as you just walk right through and they close automatically. the stickiness to the door frame was also easy to install and seems to be holding up just fine. I would recommend.

Velcro disappointed but like it other than that!
Would be 5 stars but the Velcro is cheap and if itâs like my wall it didnât stick so I had to staple it. When I pull the side open to let air in it rips the Velcro! Other than that it keeps the temp out but wind blows it open. Wish the magnets were stronger!

I have a big open area separating my kitchen from my sun room but it is extremely hot in the summer or cold in the winter because we can’t close it off very well from the rest of the house. It was like that when we bought the house so not our design lol. I was tired of constantly trying to find something thick enough to keep the hot/cold confined but the main problem was I couldn’t seal it off so it constantly seeped in hot/cold drafts. I got this and one similar for a window for the area and let me just say, you can feel the difference! There’s no more hot/cold draft coming in at all from the sun room. Theres a definite temperature difference in my kitchen now. My ac unit doesn’t seem to be constantly running now so I’m hoping to see a little bit of a difference in my electricity bill over some time of having it up, especially as the cold months get here.

Durable, Effective, and Easy To Install
Very easy to install with the included material. No special tools required. Highly effective at insulating doorways that you don’t want to permanently seal up, but may use fairly frequently. Adhesive is strong, and it seems very durable. Fits well in standard doorways, and seems like a good value for the money.
