Strong material
Very sturdy tables! I will say it adds quite a bit of weight to your tool box because they are so well built but thankfully for the wheels on my tool box it isnât a deal breaker for me. Definitely worth the money and love having tables for extra stuff.

I love the idea, but the execution…
These folding shelves for Milwaukee Packout Toolboxes is a great concept. I have a version that I love, however these shelves have some significand design flaws. The shelf is not designed to be removable, which is typical and not a distraction, but saying they are is somewhat misleading. The metal construction makes them very durable, and the tubular construction adds an element of keeping items from falling off. Magnetic trays stay put as well. Overall durability is good. Here’s the issue:The mounting hardware and installation is infuriating! 1st, you have to remove the aluminum bars from the Packout in order to ‘slide’ the mount for the shelf onto them. For some of these boxes, that’s no easy task. A two piece mount would make much more sense. Once the bar is off, the bracket has to be hammered onto the bar. The bracket isn’t engineered to be easily slid on. Positioning the shelf bracket evenly from left to right is critical in order for the bracket to fold up and down easily. The mounting holes on the shelf don’t line up properly, requiring a lot of fiddling, and in one case (there are two kits in the box) some of the hardware can’t be used without redrilling some of the holes. The nuts and bolts cannot be installed from top to bottom, and have to be installed so the nut and thread are on the shelf surface. Installing the hardware ‘properly’ impedes the bracket slide, preventing the bracket from folding down!Installation isn’t easy, and the overall design needs a lot more thought in order to be ready for ‘prime-time’.

Hardware Must be Installed With Nuts Above the Shelf
The shelves are first rate. Thick steel (I think they are power coated), with a tubular steel edge welded to the shelf plate. It is plenty strong. The hinges are ok too. They might get beat up beyond functioning if you were to throw your PackOut cases into the back of a truck a few hundred times. If you get these, you’ll need to show some care when moving your cases. The problem with these is that the pin on the moving part of the hinge travels in a track the is so close the the hinge base that the only way you can mount the shelves on the hinges is to put the nut on the top (visible) side of the shelves. The listing doesn’t show them that way. The only way to have the flat screw heads on the top (like shown in the listing images) would be to find extremely thin nuts and screws that are just long enough to go through the shelf and hinge. I don’t think I could find a nut that thin.If you don’t mind the nut on the shelf coming up through the shelf, you will think these are great – four stars. If a design flaw that results in protruding screws and nuts, you really want to look elsewhere – two stars.

Worth it if you find yourself randomly putting stuff on top of your tool box.
Pros:- These are solid metal, impact resistant, and have a lip around the outside so smaller pieces don’t fall off the side.- Because there are two, you can dramatically increase the surface area of the top of your toolbox.- I bout a similarly sized shelf on etsy with a single shelf for roughly $70, so at $90 for two, this is a fairly good deal.Cons:- Because they are metal, they’re fairly heavy, I would be careful where you attach them, which a not towards making sure you understand where they fall in your stack.

Beware what hardware you get
Great table and hinges, but the hardware is was given was to long and the table will not fold down flat on the side. So now I have to figure out what hardware to use because the bolts stick up and look like crap

Great addition to your packout!
This is exactly what I was trying to come up with myself, just MUCH sturdier. It was super simple to install, just 2 screws on each side and then you just slide it on. Install took about 10 minutes and that was mainly because I haven’t done it prior to this. The shelf itself is extremely sturdy and the brackets that hold it up are perfect! I stacked all of my M branded power tools onto this one side, and it didn’t budge even in the slightest. I put mine a bit lower on the packout so that I had room to lay flat boards and whatnot on my packout, but you can slide it up and down wherever your preference is. It functions flawlessly and the fit is super close to the packout itself. Really for the price I have yet to see a better, more robust way of accomplishing this. 10/10!!! Excellent value!

Well made, but flawed design prevents this from being a good product.
I love the idea of these folding shelves for Milwaukee Packout boxe, they’re sturdy with a cool metal tube design that keeps stuff from falling off, and the magnetic trays work great. Installing them however, was not pleasant or easy. We had to pry off the Packoutâs aluminum bars if you want to “slide” them on, then hammer the brackets into place because they donât slide on right AND if theyâre not perfectly centered, folding them is a struggle. Most of the mounting holes donât line up properly and I had to force some screws in and even drill new holes. The bolts only work upside-down (??) or the shelf wonât fold. I feel like this design never went through testing. I wouldn’t exactly call these “removable” as this seems to be only in a technical sense.

Very handy!
This is a great little fold down table! The install is a bit of a pain, but no worse than similar systems. The brackets are fairly stout, the tray itself is decently strong and nicely finished. All the hardware is included, and install only takes about 15 minutes or so. Makes it very handy for setting tools or nuts/bolts down while working. Highly recommend.
