Most waterproof case i’ve seen
Great overall case. Easy to tap the screen through the front plastic piece (for me at least). I’ve dropped it on concrete at least 3 times. The softer outer plastic is a great shock absorber. Plays good audio and picks up sound through the plastic.I went ice fishing at Utah Lake in early January. I laid my phone on the dock, and while I was changing sitting positions, I knocked my phone off the dock into the water. I drove home and back (40 min) and grabbed my magnet to try and fish it out. Turns out IPhones aren’t magnetic, so I couldn’t fish it out with the magnet. I eventually found it with a waterproof GoPro. For those of you who don’t know, Utah Lake has awful water clarity. The area I dropped it in was about 6-8 feet deep. miracle that I found it. Since the magnet didn’t work, I had to find another way to retrieve it. I drove home again (40 min) and grabbed a long net. I eventually scooped out the phone. It was covered in mud and dripping water.It had been 2.5 hours since I had first dropped the phone in, in freezing cold water. I pressed the button, and to my amazement, the phone turned on. There was some water in the case that had leaked in, but for 2.5 hours underwater, I was amazed it even worked.Some recommendations: The water seeped in through the charge port cover, which I understand is hard to waterproof, but that is where it came in the most. Some came in through the side switch cover which had a small hole in it from use. I would recommend changing the side switch cover to something better.Overall, would 100% recommend this case. It is definitely worth the price. I hope none of you drop it in a lake like I did.
