Ideal for recycling
I have bought this item before, it required in our town to recycle biodegradable. This bad sits on the counter while preparing meals. When finished I just fold the top and use a clip to keep it closed. The bag does mot leak and I can use the same bag for almost a week. I only wish they provided a 6 inch matching bag clip to go with it, it would help

Perfect
I love these bags. I keep one on the kitchen counter, top folded over and clipped shut. No odors or leakage. The bag and contents go into the yard trimmings can that the city picks up every week. Not huge or unsightly on the counter.

Truly Compostable
I thought the green bags were compostable but they apparently aren’t acceptable from the waste company in our green bin, because they compost at a slower rate than the food does. These supposedly do. I love them. You have to fold them down carefully so as not to rip in order for them to fit in the bin. But that extra fold serves as your extra paper to fold down before throwing away so that food doesn’t spill out.

It helps with compost recycling
I now have to separate compost from regular garbage or get a ticket. These bags are inexpensive and are about the size of a medium purse. I can get rid of my food waste without wasting large bags.

Great Compostable Bags
These bags are great for disposing of food waste for composting. Much nicer to have these bags in my trashcan rather than having to wash out a smelly trashcan every week. They are definitely worth it!

Top quality
Super good quality, even better than expected. Feel they might be too good to be used only for food waste!ð

These compost bags are great⦠the ones we were previously using were ok but seemed smaller and didnât handle any liquids well, bag bottom became soggy and you had to be very careful carrying to compost bin or the bottom would come out. These new bags have a thicker wax lining and hold any moisture with no problems plus I find there is better opening at the top of the bag to put in any compost items. Very pleased with the quality and are glad we purchased the bigger order of bags⦠price wise it works out much cheaper with greater results. Will definitely reorder these bags when our supply runs out.

This is the way to buy them! They do rip when I fold the top over a little too aggressively, but they donât leak. And thatâs whatâs important to me

Initial review (Nov. 27, 2024):I compare this bag with another popular brand “Bag To Earth” (bought at Costco); this bag is:+ Well produced and packaged+ Bottom seems well sealed- Feels thinner; not sure if this product has thinner inner coating. Will update later and see how this product holds food scrap.—July 14, 2025Update:Changed the review from 4 to 5 stars. The bags do hold food scrap well. the food scrap usually doesn’t have too much liquid but so far I have no issue with the bags. they hold up well.Fyi: As a safety measure, I usually put the paper bag inside a plastic bag when carrying it to the compose bin in our complex then take the bag out. Anyways, I havent seen liquid leaking out the bags over the past months.

Been using for nearly two years. Holds up well and lasts even over a week when I don’t have many food scraps. Very sturdy and has never failed

Product is excellent, no leak, light weightBut I purchased it two months ago for $46, price had gone up by $20 within two months, which I find a bit unacceptable.Just a reference for people who are finding a substitute for Costco compost bags
