These are great! Very strong.
I love these bags. They are really strong (contrary to what one other reviewer said). I load them full. And the full bags are often heavy. I use them in a tall narrow trash can that fits so snugly when the bag is full that it creates suction when I try to pull the bag out, so I usually have to pull really hard to get it out. I then have to carry the full bags down to the trash room in the building basement. I’ve never had a tear.Also, they are truly unscented. Me, I loathe scented trash bags and don’t know why they exist.The handles tie nicely.

These HippoSak kitchen trash bags are hands down the best I have ever used, regardless of their wonderful environmental features (which I love). They are easy to pull from the box, easy open, easy to fit in the trash can, incredibly strong–I have never had a single leak to clean up, and they tie up tight in a jiffy. This is – BY FAR – the best garbage bag Iâve ever used! I know itâs really weird to get excited about a trash bag, but here I am. Itâs super sturdy, and the handles make it so much easier to carry, especially when the garbage is heavy. Bonus: these bags are biodegradable, so hey, one less weekly contribution to the global plastic issue. Iâll definitely buy these again!
