A major difference on F150.
2019 Whippled F150 5.0L. Bilstein 5100 shocks all 4 wheels. Truck sat level pre Roadmaster. I purchased the HD version. Installation was a breeze. Took about 2 hours taking my time. Wow! My truck rides so much nicer and gained 1.5 inches of lift in the rear set with black disc. I like the little rake it brought back to the truck. With this system I can barely tell my 26 foot, 5000lb travel trailer is on the back. No sway, bumps are one and done, no bouncing. It made the ride and handling about 50% better all the way around. Best of all no hop and zero axle wrap when I launch it. The truck hooks right up! Imo these work better than traction bars without sacrificing ground clearance. For 550 bucks this took care of all my issues I wanted to solve. Only con was my hands got dirty. Get long jack stands if you don’t have them. Oh USA made and 3 year warranty too! Just get them and you’ll be very happy.

Great product
Easy installation! Raised my truck 1.5 inches. I have a 2019 ford 3.5 eco boost. Pulling a 2025 1/2 ton 100 series grand design fifth wheel. Roughly 1100 pound hitch weight. Squats truck back to original height. Ride I feel is better when no load. No wheel hop over rough surfaces. But definitely more rigged.Better than air bags! No air compressor to air up or taking air out.Bags bouncer with no load!

Worth its weight in gold!
WOW! Believe every word of the hype. My 2016 F150 felt a little bouncy with a full bed, wasnât really over the top but I carry a decent amount of tools and boxes back there so it was always a little unsettled. My tools are just heavy enough that it took the rake out of the truck and made it ride really rough over uneven surfaces or bumps. The RAS sorted it out perfectly. I used the black disc assuming it would be best because I always have weight in the bed. It takes a second to get used to, but thatâs honestly because of how strangely smooth it rides. Itâs very obviously still a truck, donât get me wrong, but it fixed the ride height and really settled the rear end down.Took about 2 hours but thatâs with me basing it off videos Iâd watched weeks ago and setting one of the brackets to the wrong hole initially. Use the 3rd one from the end, otherwise the spring will rub against the rebound clip. Otherwise it was a breeze. For my 2016, the bump stop spacer/relocation puck didnât have roll pins in it, but it sat flush and tightened down nicely, I see no problem with it because youâd really be doing something silly if you ended up on the bump stops with this kit installed anywayâ¦.Worth every cent! Donât buy the fakes. These springs are under a LOT of tension, do not chance it. Those Chinese fakes will break, violently.

Does as itâs advertised
This does exactly what it is intended to do. Itâs built very well and is super easy to install. The biggest thing I like about this is the stop of wheel hop/ bed shake. With the smaller disk it brought my rear end up 3/4â and when I load the bed down itâs hardly squatting. With the same load without this the nose of my truck would be sticking up. I donât know if this is my fault from install or my fault for flexing my truck too much for this kit but I noticed after my first camping trip with this the part that bolts around the leaf blocks was bent and after further looking I found out that when I flex the truck enough that it makes contact with the sides of my bump stops. Both sides are bent and I followed the instructions and YouTube videos during install so Iâm not sure how I could have messed up there. The road to my camp spot is pretty rough and has a lot of pot holes and articulation to get to it. And while Iâm there I like to have fun with the truck so Iâm wondering if I bottomed the rear out sometime and it bent the mount or what but it still works fine and went on another camping trip after that with no issues.

They work great.
These work well and are built of quality materials for sure. I just feel like they’re a little overpriced for what you get.

Great Product
Installed on a 2016 F-150 SuperCrew 4×4. I was concerned these springs would be too hard and create a jarring ride. I was wrong, way wrong. Stability is improved and the truck feels more planted. Not harsh or jarring at all. I tow a 7000 lb. travel trailer, with an Andersen WDH. The ride quality is very nice and the truck and trailer are level.I was considering Sumo Springs, Tembrens, AirLift and Firestone air bags when I came across the RAS spring kit. I am SO glad that I chose RAS. I have the RAS springs set with the white 1 mm disc. My truck has a 200 lb. cab-high shell and a 100 lb. generator when travelling. The RAS kit raised the height at the hitch 7/8″ (22 mm).I like the RAS over the others because it’s active all the time with no adjustments or maintenance. I figured the bump-stop replacements when engaged would feel like riding on (wait for it) bump stops. I’ve had air bags on other vehicles and though they ride nice and serve their purpose, they do wear out and require my attention to monitor pressure.I’m very happy with the RAS Active Suspension kit.

I didn’t get a chance to try hauling my camper (28′ Jayco) without these installed, so I can’t truly compare them in that regard. But I can say that it did improve handling (less body roll in curves and corners, less wheel hop on wash boards) from the factory ride. Installed on 2023 Ford F-150 Tremor.I read multiple posts of people stating that a 28′ camper is unmanageable with a half ton tow rig. I have not towed a huge amount, but I have towed with strong cross winds and poor pavement conditions (dips and varying grades) since installing this. My half ton handled everything well so far, and I believe the HD RAK system have made a huge difference to that. I have not experienced “porpoising” (front end of the truck bobbing up and down after going over a hump in the road) as many people with similar trucks have reported. NOTE. I do have a Husky Centerline sway and leveling tow hitch on my truck and trailer as well, and believe these 2 systems coupled together make all the difference in towing large campers with a half ton. I’m nowhere near my gross trailer weight rating (11,000 lbs) but I am near or at my payload capacity of 1640 lbs when trailer and family are loaded up.
